It is very disturbing that the 'real' company refused to do anything to sensitize the public on the right type...or even if there was a name change, they owe their huge Nigeria customer-base few seconds of advert to that effect.

It’s the same company, the product is branded differently in some countries. “Sonne” is “Sun” in German. It’s a Swiss company so they have it branded in English or German. However, you’re right since Nigerian consumers are not used to the stylized “sun” brand, they should do an ad explaining it.

It's the same product. It's branded Capri-Sun in America and some other western countries and Capri-Sonne in others like Nigeria
