Saluting Position In The Boys' Brigade Nigeria.

Are You Aware?
Saluting positions in the Boys Brigade differs across the countries of the world. This is as a result of the difference in training, suitability of the locals, country, adaptation, learning skill, training techniques and others.
However, all for THE SAME purpose (compliment). E.g. BB Malaysia's saluting position differs from that of the BB UK.

(Relate to the Boys' Brigade Nigeria's Drill Book, Published by The BBN National Headquarters Abuja, The 6th Reprint 2017, Pg. 43).

How To Salute;
We have two basic position of SALUTING, which are dependent on the positions of the saluting dais or to whom the compliment is giving to respectively. These are;

i. Saluting to the front
ii. Saluting to the sides (right or left)

A. Saluting to the Front
The right hand is brought smartly with a circular motion to the head, palm to the front, fingers extended and close together, point of the forefinger touching the forehead 25 mm (one inch) above the right eye, thumbs close to the forefinger, tips of the fingers,wrist and elbow in a straight line.
