I would also like to add, though this is late, that Onyema has no business buying airplanes from the United States. The US is openly hostile to black people and uses every situation possible to maintain or gain control over others. That is their stock and trade.

Any US bought plane will likely be rigged with devices, trackers, and controllers. The idea of an African having planes is very worrying for them for two reasons.

European and US airlines make billions every year from the Nigerian market and do not want to let that pipeline of money go. Nigerians pay 3x the price for tickets are other countries and other Africans follow somewhere around there. Look up flights to Japan from the UK and flights from Nigeria from the UK and you'll see the difference. Despite the distance, Nigerians are cash cows in the aviation because they will pay any price without questioning it and have few options. This is not something the multinationals are willing to let go and they are very willing to kill to protect billion dollar revenues.

Boeing makes nearly all of it's money from the US military and is considered, in the US, more or less a wing of the US military and a foundation of the Military Industrial Complex. It operates like a part of the military. It's is extremely naive to continue buying planes from them as a black man who recently flew to South Africa to save other black people without their permission. Please be aware and spread this message.

This is not to say the US will automatically do the most evil possible thing, or is automatically going to be hostile, but again, meter your trust for them to an adult, realistic level. Know the dynamics of the country you're willing to spend 1 billion dollars on.

But what about Ethiopian Airlines that also buys Boeing planes and flies to FIVE U.S. cities? Why haven't the Americans frustrated them out of business or indicted their CEO for money laundering?

I was responding to this particular line of your comment.. "The US is openly hostile to black people and uses every situation possible to maintain or gain control over others. That is their stock and trade"

Again, if the US is so against Black people to the extent of accusing the CEO of the largest airline in West Africa of money laundering and bank fraud, then why hasn't the same U.S. come after Ethiopian Airlines CEO? After all, his airline flies to a couple of U.S. destinations, and is the most profitable in Africa.

As fantastic as your analysis seems, you failed to address any one issue based on his indictment. If one has not come across the US indictment papers, you would've misled such a person to believe that this is a persecution rather than a prosecution.

How do you explain using funds for NGOs to purchase commercial aircraft for commercial business.

How do you explain funds transfered from NGOs account offshore to finance ostentatious life in America, like the purchase of Armoured Rolls Royce, Benz, Gucci, Luiz Vuiltton and the likes? These are the kind of expenditures that gave Mr Onyema out in the first place and put him on the radar. Recall, this is similar to Ibori's case in the UK.

Don't also forget that these people are suspicious of any large chunk of money coming from Africa because they know that it will every tendency of fraud.

Take this quote from a news paper report for instance

It is only in Nigeria that someone can become a billionaire overnight and you cannot unravel how he accumulated his wealth no matter how deep you dig,” business analyst, Osahon Ojigbede, told PREMIUM TIMES. “It is one of the reasons I have been very reluctant to go with those who say we should give Mr Onyema the benefit of the doubt.”

Mr Ojigbede said he was particularly gripped by a section of the indictment which said Mr Onyema established several non-profit organisations to move funds around in a manner typical of money laundering.

“Since he has said he would clear his name in court, I look forward to seeing how he plans to address charges of drafting fake purchase documents and using proceeds of non-profits to directly fund commercial businesses,” Mr Ojigbede said.

American authorities said Mr Onyema used about $3 million from his NGOs, including Foundation for Ethnic Harmony, International Centre for Non-Violence and Peace Development, All-Time Peace Media Communications Limited and Every Child Limited, to buy planes for Air Peace

Ethiopia has a US military base, US propped regime, and US military prison. Nigeria, most importantly, Igboland, does not.
oga the conspiracy theories is too much, if they wanted to stop him from opening the airline all they had to do was refuse selling their planes to him and also pressure their airlines not to do so. he broke the laws governing international money transfer end of story, I just don't know why many of u rather blame others for ur misconduct, especially when u are caught.
