Civilization made us acceptance one on the left, we call it Santa Claus, we pay to take our kids to him and receive presents in return but we scorn and dread the one on the right , we call him fetish and diabolical . We avoid him like a plaque and warn our children against him. Meanwhile, both of them are masquerade one is local the other is foreign

Santa is uniquely is based on Christmas season while masquerade are of different types and can perform at any other time. .Foreign lands have masquerades too.
