History itself can be confusing and I wouldn't be able to say whether the Pharaoh stories are fake.

However there are several archaeological evidences that give credence to the facts that the Pharaohs does actually exist but I am not sure if there is any proof to back the claim that the red sea drifted apart as proposed in both holy books.

Like most historical narratives, there are some of the claim in both the Bible and Quran that cannot be proven or (have not being proven yet) but that does not necessarily mean they do not actually occur.

You are absolutely right. I always feel sorry for the North coz they got a lot of potential and would have been more developed if they had not been consumed by the religious lies bewitched upon them by the caliphate.

To add to their misery, Ahmadu Bello who was a more fanatic ruler took over the reign and he made sure he dragged them backward more by not separating religion from the state. They failed to see that the world has changed and they had to change with the times, their elite continues to subdue them using the tool of religion as their weapon.
