Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu Hosts Supporters To a "Thank You" Gig.

- Says she is strong believer of the saying that "ONYE SURU OFIA GA ATA OKA"; hence her reason for this thank you gathering

The Immediate past Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and two time Member representing the good people of Nnewi South Constituency II, Rt. Hon Rita Maduagwu, yesterday hosted the entire Party Structure in her Constituency to a historic outing.
She used the occasion to thank them for their unalloyed support all these years starting from her first ever victory eight years ago; to her emergency as the speaker of the state house of Assembly during which she was also elected the speaker of all the South east speakers etc

"Dependable Rita", as she is fondly called by her supporters, took out considerable time in celebrating all Party Executives across the 11 wards and LGA excos of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

She charged her supporters to remain steadfast and keep hope alive. "APGA is our party come rain, come shine. We must keep our eyes on the bigger picture. That which lies ahead is far greater than what is behind us". She remarked.

There was lots of merry and rekindling of hope. The people assured her of their continued support and loyalty.

Present at the event were the APGA LGA Chairman of Nnewi South, Former TC Chairman of NSLGA, Engr Felix Odimegwu (Omus Kaakakaa), TC members, SSAs and SAs to the Governor and Leaders of the party in the LGA.

Some of the guest thank God for giving her the spirit of a true mother and a Christian; because according to one of the guest; for deeming fit to call them and thank them for their unalloyed support despite all she went through during and after the last election; she truly merits that name" ODIUKO NA MBA"

The highlight of the occasion was the distribution of XMAS packages to all the less privileged persons that attended the occasion
