Once again I say thank you. Finally, I have received the hearing aid and it is working perfectly. With time the volume will be regulated, by then my hearing system would have mastered it.
@Cannonnaire, my cousin came in yesterday and I collected this morning.

I have been using hearing aids for over 7 years now, before I bought my first hearing aids I did an auditory test at a specialized hospital in portharcourt costing me #7000 naira then.

The ones am using now I bought two and my friend in the UK sent one as a gift/bonus. The two costs me about 20/25 thousand naira.

Good day, I just came across this thread that talks about hearing aid. Am impaired, I became deaf after a brief illness. I was told that it was the drugs I took that caused it.

Mine, is that I can't hear easily. I only hear sharp sound. E.g. When a nail is been pull out from blank, I can hear that sound.

What I do hear is constant noise inside my ear without outer source, its called '' Tinnutus''. I don't know if I can use hearing aid.

Am really in need of hearing aid. I hardly hear. I only read people's lip to know what they are saying. I do hear sound inside my ear, a constant buzzing, they call it '' Tinnutus ''.
Its really disturbing me.

I don't know if I can use hearing aid.

Will it stop the buzzing and able's me to hear again?

I have heard of cochlear implantation, but its too expensive, it also involves surgery.

Do you use to hear any sound inside ur ear? Because me,turn I do use to hear, I find it difficult to hear.
I do hear sharp sound. E.g. Like pulling a nail from blank.

you can go back to school. you are just depressed right now. you will follow in class if you make up your mind. btw, what school are you in? you can have your friends put you through by writing things down for you. believe me, you will follow. do not think much about it at all. also check your B12 and aldosterone count especially if you have loud ear noise.
