Fans will always be fans... The club has very rich history with regards to winning. I think it isn't far from the truth to claim United owns Manchester!!!

As for spending, I agree with you wholly on this... However, City and some other top clubs in Europe have not been better in that area either. United just happens to have been unfortunate in the coaching department... If they hadn't made that legendary error of taking an idiot like Moyes after Ferguson left (One of the biggest mistakes in club history), they would have won at least 2 more EPL titles since then. We all know this!

Just imagine they had gotten Guardiola, Ancelloti, Klopp, or Conte as soon as Fergie left.... They would have had far more to brag about... This is normal in life... Clubs experience this all the time.

As for debts, nearly every top club has huge debts, especially trophy winning ones... United is not being properly managed, and have not been selling players enough. If and when they get a good sports director, this too will change for the better.
