In life, there will be times when we do everything right, perhaps even perfectly. Yet the results will be failure, disrespect, jealousy, or even a resounding yawn from the world.
The down side of all this is we have absolutely no control over these results, because we cannot control people's evaluation, validation, recognition and attention. The best we can do is ensure that our effort is up to measured standard.
