Iran’s assault on bases housing US troops in Iraq was intended to smash American military infrastructure rather than kill soldiers, an Iranian commander told state television. He promised further strikes in the region.

Iran launched a volley of ballistic missiles at two bases in Iraq in the early hours of Wednesday morning, bringing the two countries to the brink of war. However, no American or Iraqi casualties were sustained, and US President Donald Trump responded with economic sanctions instead of military action.

Speaking on Iranian state television on Thursday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) aerospace commander, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, elaborated on the operation the previous day.

We didn't seek to kill. We sought to hit the enemy's military machine.

Hajizadeh added that expelling American troops from the Middle East would be “appropriate revenge” for the death of IRGC Major General Qassem Soleimani, who the US assassinated in a drone strike at Baghdad airport on Friday.

He said that the attack would be the start of a series of similar strikes across the region.

Trump thanked an “early warning system”for tipping the US military off about the incoming Iranian missiles on Wednesday morning, averting casualties at the bases. However, the Iraqi government confirmedthat it received advance warning of the strikes, enabling US troops to take precautionary measures and activate air defense systems. Nevertheless, the missiles struck with pinpoint accuracy, demonstrating the advancement of Tehran’s military technology in recent years.

Earlier in the day  IRGC commander Abdollah Araghi also said that Iran would take “harsher revenge soon,” without elaborating further.

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei both stated that the Islamic Republic’s ultimate goal is the removal of US troops from the Middle East.

It irks me how people have refused to see the level of cowardice America has put on display over these past few days.
THE motor mouthed nuisance bragged and promised 'hell on earth' if any of America's properties could be touched. There they are, several missiles dropped on his grave and all he did was chicken out to twitter to post about damage assessment and disappeared like forever.

He later showed up with disjointed facts and cooked up tales and it beats me how people still applaud them claiming Iran purposely missed their targets to pacify Iranians. FUNNY.

Here they are still coming out stronger as against the 'standing down ' the president of twitter and Facebook purported.

Bloody coward.

They should have at least damaged an Apache helicopter.Did they?
Let's count the casualties.
Iran killed 3 Americans. Then Americans killed 25 KH Iranian militias
Then Iraq's stormed the fortified American embassy. No casualties. America then killed Suleiman plus 6 other terrorists.
During the burial of Suleiman a stampede killed at least 55 Iranians.
Iran fired missiles at American housed Iraq bases killing noone. They not verified so far downed a plane killing 176 Innocents.

Do the maths. At least 263 Iranians dead because off Qassam Suleiman for only 3 Americans

Now idiots can say America reaction to their 3 dead was disproportionate because the aftermath killed at least 263 Iranians.
War crime?

I'm a believer of our Lord God, Jesus Christ and student of the holy bible. Jesus Christ and His word can't deceive and mislead me but Americans and Trump can deceive and mislead you in the guise of Christianity(Matthew24:4-11, 22-24. Revelation12:9).

Your first assignment: humbly thirst for the truth and find out about the "13 red stripes on American's flag and 6 star symbol of Israel's flag." Then, you will proceed to the next and I'll help you the scriptural truths, revelations and histories. Jesus Christ loves you.
