Lionel Messi admits the shame in the fact his side made mistakes that gifted the Supercopa semi-final win to Atletico Madrid.

Lionel Messi was obviously unhappy that his Barcelona side lost to Atletico Madrid in the Supercopa semi-final.

As always the Argentine maestro wanted to win and lift another trophy for his club and fans.

However, it was the manner in which his side lost that appears to have infuriated the best player in the world.

Speaking after the game according to Goal, the way his side gifted the come back to their opponents is perhaps what hurts the most.

He said:

“It is a shame.”
