xavi did squat. the only game he played better than sneijder was the tie at camp nou(semifinals). in san siro, sneijder was better. in the world cup, sneijder was magnificent. he made the best through-passes in the match but his team-mates let him down. it was also sneijder's midfield that eliminated the champions of england, champions of spain and the champions of germany. sneijder scored 5 world cup goals from the midfield beating the likes of brazil, uruguay, etc.

xavi did that twice against spain in the final. he set up arjen robben one on one with iker casillas and robben fluffed his lines. it was the best pass of the match and it was worth winning the world cup in the way he split the spanish defence open. it's not sneijder's fault that robben is a cow.

sneijder also scored 5 good goals from the midfield in the world cup with 2 of those against the stiff brazilian defence and you are talking dust here. i agree xavi is the best player overall but wesley had a better year than any player in 2010. not even messi or ronaldo or forlan had it as good as sneijder. he single-handedly ruined chelsea.

Xavi is a player that has won it all. Everything in football that can be won by Xavi has been won; Euro, World cup, Treble, 7 out of 7 in a year.
