I Got An Accidented 2017 Accord / Importation Of Accidented Vehicle From Usa To Lagos Covid-9 Period / Accidented Honda CRV 2012: (2) (3) (4)

Please I need advice on this. Intend buying this, car will be shipped from usa. Seller says repairs can be done here within two days. How serious is the damage, should I go ahead, will the car be OK after repairs? Another issue, seller says car is automatic, but a free vin check says car is manual,could it have been converted? Please I need inputs.

By vin check, I presume you mean paid vin check, if not, run a paid for vin check or go to vehicle company website and check the vehicle specifications with the vin... And if you still have doubts, run oh.. |

IMOHS: A few reasons why this vehicle may not be the best value for your funds: - Frame/Chassis Damage - The Odometer was stuck at 299,999 Miles, based on the other images from the auction. This model had a manufacturer defect which made the odometer break down and get stuck at 299,999 Miles/KM. The actual mileage would be greater than that figure. Regarding the transmission, the auction images suggest that the Automatic transmission likely came from the factory. Regards. 1 Like

This is actually the vin. So you saying the damage might have affected the chassis, and that is not good?

The best advice you already gt above. Do a comprehensive vin report, carguide already gave you the clues. I hope you have not made any big bids on the car? Just ensure you know what you are getting into first. When i doubt, oga bail o! |

All the necessary parts are easily available in the US. The mechanic just has to call and the parts would be delivered to the shop. If all repairs can be made in two days in Nigeria.... they can be done in a few hours in the US. Ask the seller to send you an estimate of the cost of repairs in the US. He wouldn't.
