I recently visited the Cocoa House ,Dugbe Ibadan . The Cocoa House, is the first skyscraper intropical Africa. The building is a modest 24 storey high-rise structure, property of Odu'a Investment Company Ltd. Built by Cappa and D'Alberto company in July 30, 1965. 1 Like

The pictures was taken from the roof top. I also visited the museum located on the 24th floor. The penthouse was recently converted into a museum known as Odua Historical Museum and hall of fame. 1 Like

Ttipsy: Don't you go to Europe and see how they preserve their architecture that spans centuries upon centuries back? You think the Europeans cannot demolish and rebuild "modern buildings" It's part of history and heritage You preserve it Tho you can change the roof to something more durable But still the same design or look Every city is unique in its own way.
