Matured Christians know that following God's commandments can sometimes lead to conflict with the powers of this world. This is why a lot of Christians(including Pastors, Overseers and Shepherds) shy away from going the extra mile. They either choose to (1) become bench warmers in church, (2)keep to messages that people like to hear (e.g. prosperity gospel), or in extreme cases (3) develop concepts that are contrary to what is written in the gospel hence leading people astray. The devil is a liar

1 Corin 10:13 tell us that " The temptation in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more that you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

So why fret? A sea storm may arise for a while but consequently, it must cease. The key is to endure the storm knowing that God who is true to his word had already made a way out. That is why apostle James is encouraging us to consider it an opportunity for great joy. Knowing that when our faith is tested, our endurance has a chance to grow. Therefore we must let it grow, for when our endurance is fully developed, we will become prefect and complete, needing nothing. Failing to endure can and ultimately lead to wandering from the truth.

In our walk with Christ, let us continue to meditate that the Lord of Host is faithful.

1 Corin 1:9
9God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

God is faithful to do what he says he will do. He has invited us INTO PARTNERSHIP --->>> with his son, Jesus Christ our Lord. For we know that God causes EVERYTHING to work together for the good of those who love God and are called ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE for them smiley.

CONCLUSION

1 Peter 4:19
So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, FOR HE WILL NEVER FALL YOU.   Halleluyah and Amen to that.

God bless wink
