Daragh Curley, Man United Fan, Celebrates Liverpool's Defeat Against Watford by Officialhorlah(m): 12:01am On Mar 03, 2020 |
- Daragh Curley celebrated Liverpool's defeat against Watford - Curley is supporting Manchester United who are fifth on the EPL table - The Reds are still topping the Premier League standings this term Manchester United fan Daragh Curley was in joyous momentum when Liverpool suffered their first ever defeat in the Premier League against lowly rated Watford. The Reds who were hoping and dreaming of finishing the season unbeaten had their invincibility ambition destroyed when they lost 3-0 against Watford. But before Liverpool were beaten by Watford, a ten year old Manchester United faithful named Daragh Curley had appealed to Jurgen Klopp for him to lose some games. The boy penned a letter to the Liverpool manager which went viral asking the German to tell his boys to drop some points. And in an hilarious response, Jurgen Klopp told the boy that he will not be able to lose games so as not to disappoint millions of Liverpool fans around the world. However, after just a week the boy got his response from Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool were dealt with a big blow losing their first game of the season against Watford. Dejay Yella@DejayYella Daragh Curley, a 10-year-old @ManUtd fan wrote to Jurgen Klopp asking him to make @LFC LOSE! But Kloop replied to him - ”Unfortunately I can't grant your request. Trending__ According to the latest report on UK Sun, Daragh's father confirmed that his son was celebrating around the house after Liverpool suffered the embarrassing defeat. “He had a little jump of joy every time Watford scored alright,'' Gordon explained according to UK Sun also cited on Mirror and Star. But the boy must be reminded that Liverpool's defeat against Watford is of no significant importance to Manchester United this season because the Reds would still win the title. They are still topping the Premier League standings and they are 22 points ahead of second placed Manchester City. The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations bronze-winning winger has been superb for his Spanish League side Villarreal since he broke into the team in 2018. French League giants Lyon are also said to have shown interest in signing the Nigerian football star who made 2019 Kopa Trophy top ten chart. The 20-year-old has scored three goals in 18 appearances for the club this campaign as he could become the Reds second signing this summer.
