Cristiano Ronaldo was left raging after Bruno Fernandes did not pass to him as Manchester United looked to break the deadlock early on in their 0-0 draw against Watford.

It was a frustrating afternoon for Ronaldo as the Red Devils dropped points for the third time in five Premier League games.

The 37-year-old had a goal ruled out for offside, hit the post and struck team-mate Anthony Elanga with a goal-bound shot.

However one opportunity he did not get was in the 12th minute, as compatriot Fernandes ignored the chance to pass to him.

Fernandes was through on goal with only Ben Foster to beat and if he had squared it to his right then Ronaldo would have had an open goal to finish in to.

Yet the midfielder decided to go for goal himself and saw his effort saved by Foster, who became the oldest visiting goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

It was one of eight shots that Fernandes had throughout the afternoon as his wasteful finishing summed up United's troubles.
Ralf Rangnick's side are still fourth in the table, but are only two points ahead of Arsenal who have played three fewer games.

'Our job as coaches is to help the team to create enough chances,' Rangnick said after the draw. 'If we'd only had two or three against Watford, we could ask ourselves why.

'But the number of chances we had, they have to be enough to win the game. We need to be sharper in front of goal. If you miss that many, it's difficult to win.'

This is not the first time a scene like this is happening. Do I blame the players ? No. I blame the coaches and the board, who see all of these and not correct them. When it continues to happen, the result is that you end up being away from the top 4. They should continue.

The way Man Utd starts all matches with high pressing temple especially at old Trafford you would think the match would end at least 5 goals to nothing in favor of Man Utd..

We all know u are a CR7 hater.... any real football fan with eyes knows that Bruno is Manchester utd midfield problem....he is all over the place , he looses possession alot , misplaced passes and he mostly makes bad decisions when he's in great positions. Watch players like modric , Tadic , De bruyne , Firminho, moutinho , muller ....thats y they keep on benching him in Portugal.... a midfielder can't be selfish .... selfishness is only for strikers and not midfielders , especially he thats assumed to b the playmaker ... the first month I watched man utd , the players I called out were , wissaka , maguire , shaw , greenwood, rashford, fred and Bruno... these players should be replaced... Bruno should be a bench player , wissaka should play in a back 3 , or the bench or as a sitting DM ....
