Come on, so the Professor was of the opinion that anyone taking his class must have an idea of who Naira Marley is.

�This is a perfect scholarly question. It only takes a scholar to understand the depth of the context of discourse. It only takes the deep to understand the deep in Theatre Scholarship!

There is a connect between the theatre and the society (The town & The gown) especially in the context of playwriting which is a perfect mirror of the society.

Of course, the Prof just observed a paradigm shift from discourse on irrelevant texts to the currency of the social culture which is necessary in the post-colonial Nigeria and during this fourth industrial revolution.
