The US consulate in Nigeria has cancelled all non immigrant visa application appointments in Nigeria, this coming hours after the Nigerian government cancelled flights from 13 countries including the US.

They should keep their Corona virus. There are many Corona virus free countries that Nigerians can visit instead.

Some other countries had cancelled visitor and tourist visas and even revoked earlier issued visas.
It's only sensible to not issue new visas if there are travel restrictions and social distancing already in place.

And its not just Nigeria, it's for most countries. They have even closed the land border with Canada. Some ill informed folks are already spinning the narrative to suit their thoughts on our weak govt's flight suspension.
