The CoronaVirus has the entire world on a fight against a global pandemic. While measures are being taken to curb the spread of this deadly virus which has claimed the lives of over 37000 People worldwide
Some Notable Nigerians are testing positive for the coronavirus, further proving that the deadly disease knows no age nor status.
This is the list compiled by TopTenNaija On Notable Nigerians who have the corona virus.

1. Seyi Makinde
On 30 march, the Oyo state governor made an announcement on his twitter page upon receiving his result. He revealed he had tested positive to coronavirus. And is currently self isolating.
In his tweet;
"I just received my COVID-19 confirmation test result. It is POSITIVE. I am asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate.

I have designated Prof Temitope Alonge, former Chief Medical Director of the University College, Ibadan, as the Head of COVID-19 Task Force while I recover fully. Please continue to comply with all the directives from the COVID-19 Task Force. Stay home, stay safe."

2. Abba Kyari
After exclusive reports by media outlets that the Nigerian president’s influential chief of staff Abba Kyari was seriously ill and suspected of having Coronavirus after returning from trips to Germany and Egypt where the virus had killed dozens of persons, He tested positive for the virus. He has since been flown to Lagos for proper medicare.

3. Bala Mohammed
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State tested positive for coronavirus after his contact with the son of the former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, who is also tested positive for the virus. His media aide revealed that he is now quarantined while his doctors and officials from NCDC are in charge of his treatment.

4. Nasir El-Rufai
On March 28, the kaduna state governor Mallam Nasir El-rufai tested positive to coronavirus. He disclosed this via his twitter account. Its unclear how he got exposed too the virus. He has been in self-isolation as required by the NCDC for someone that is not showing symptoms

5. Chef Chioma
Davido's fiance, chioma also tested positive to the pandemic, coronavirus.

She recently returned from London with her baby. Davido, who made the announcement revealed that she had no symptoms and feels perfectly fine. Davido, too, recently returned from the US and due to their recent travel history, decided to take themselves and all close associates they came in recent contact with for the COVID-19 test on the 25th of March. She is now being quarantined. Davido has also gone on full self isolation for the minimum 14 days.

6. Muhammed Babandede.
The Comptroller-General of Immigration tested positive for coronavirus.

He disclosed this in a WhatsApp message to The Punch correspondent and explained that he is already on self-isolation since he returned from the United Kingdom on March 22.

7. Professor Otegbayo Jesse
The University College Hospital, Ibadan chief medical doctor revealed his coronavirus status in a series of tweets on march 29.
He got infected through an infected colleague and has since gone into isolation.

8. Frank Okiye.
On march 25th the speaker of the edo state house of asssembly tested positive to corona virus. deputy governor philip shuaibu disclosed this while briefing journalists on his status. he has since been isolated and being given medical care
