MTN Nigeria has added 3 new network prefixes to its preexisting 10, which brings the tally to 13.

On the 11th of March, 2020, MTN Nigeria added the network prefixes, 0704, 07025, 07026 to its Network. The prefixes, which were formerly for visafone numbers were launched 3 years after the acquisition of visafone by MTN Nigeria.
As Number ranges get exhausted, new ones are unveiled. For instance, when “0803” and “0806” numbers got exhausted around 2009, MTN Nigeria unveiled the 0813 Numbering range

Therefore, with the emergence of the new network prefixes, potential subscribers can purchase their new MTN lines, and opt for which of the three prefixes they prefer.

For subscribers that are unsure of which Network Prefix is peculiar to MTN Nigeria, Geeky Nigeria has compiled a comprehensive list of their Network Prefixes.

0810
MTN Nigeria launched the “0810” prefix in 2011. According to their tweet, they did so to give more power to 50 Million Nigerians.

Mtn should be sent back to their village.

Imagine giving Nigerians that patronise you 247 just 300 free SMS (AND YOU CAN ONLY USE 10 PER DAY FOR 30DAYS).. why not give free airtime or data? Who gave them this idea?

It's not your fault.

I'm slightly hittin on DSTV too!

There is no useful network providers in Nigeria. All we have is network bandits. Go to other countries, their network providers are gifting them free internet access to assist them in lock down but all MTN could do is to tell me that I have been rewarded with free SMS. Pleas can someone tell me what I want to do with free SMS when I have whatsapp and other social media platforms to connect with friends and families and text my boredom away. Now they are buying additional prefix, who dat one help
Ogun kill mtn and if they survive make devil uproot their teeth

Nothing last forever, I can still remember those who bought their Sim cards when it's 20k now can you imagine telecommunications agents begging people to have the same sim cards freely or even been sold out for just N50, funny enough those who bought at high price back then are not been treated with special offers.

Strange?? No!!

This shows that u shouldn't feel so special when you own something cuz you never know what tomorrow can tells
