[MUST READ] COVID-19: 9 Simple Ways To Protect Your Family From The Pandemic by Knetpro(m): 3:30am On Apr 05, 2020
The coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) is a highly transmittable and pathogenic viral infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2019 which was discovered on 31st December 2019 in Huwei province in Wuhan, China.

Concerned about how to protect your family during this pandemic?

If so, here are 9 simple ways that you can protect your family and yourself during this pandemic.

1. Stay at home / Adopt Social Distancing

If you are the outgoing type and you find it difficult to stay alone, this is a good time to learn how to become an introvert. You can take an online course on that if you find it a huge task to adopt. As you do so, you need to remember that it is only the living that socialize. The dead do not.

2. Maintain a high level of personal hygiene

Wash your hands frequently with soap under running water and teach your children to do the same too. Also, avoid touching high contact surfaces like door handles, stair rails and tables. Always ensure you clean these high contact surfaces frequently with soap and water.

3. Ensure your mouth and throat is always moist and never dry

Drink warm water frequently at least every 15 minutes. The Longrich Alkaline Cup can help a great deal in this regard.

4. Avoid wearing a face mask unless you made it yourself

There are videos trending right now warning people about imported face mask found to be positive of the coronavirus disease. So, if you must wear a face mask, make sure it is the one you made yourself or provided a tailor with your own cloth to make for you.

5. Restrict movement of your hands

Avoid touching your face (nose, ears, or mouth) and high-contact surfaces like door handles, stair rails and tables during this pandemic. A simple strategy to use when you are outdoors is keep your hands in your pocket more often.

6. Heat your clothes after each use

Put your clothes in the sun immediately you return home from wherever you went. It has been reported that the coronavirus can live for up to 6 to 12 hours on fabric. So, putting your clothes in the sun for at least 2 hours before taking them into the house will kill the virus.

7. Avoid getting too close to someone coughing or sneezing

Maintain at least one and half meters distance between yourself and anyone that is sneezing and coughing.

8. Rest well and exercise regularly

Do not use the sit-at-home period as excuse to watch television and movies all day long. Ensure you sleep for at least 7 hours a day and get enough rest. Also ensure that you exercise to break out a sweat but don't over do it.

9. Boost your immune system

You will need to adopt a strict regiment of taking in food supplements to boost your immunity and enhance your body's natural defense against the coronavirus and all other diseases during this pandemic.

Some Longrich products that can help prevent infections and boost your immunity greatly are as follows:
