If you read a few lines into the end of my post, you'd understand better why channels ignores some of the news. The fed govt had attacked them severally for airing factual news in the past so, they've taken caution. There was a time they wanted to shut down the station
That's why after each morning's political discussions on channelstv, they'd state clearly that the views and opinions of the invited guests and contributors are theirs and do not in anyway reflect the opinion of channels tv
Sorry, this is very new to me. I'm not aware that Channels TV ever had problems with any government. Do you mind expatiating on it pls?

Good to not to forget that prevalent conditions determine how well an app performs. There are apps waiting on the wings to supplant WhatsApp. The clincher is what the market is after. The law of demand and supply is it. For me, it makes no difference because I have 1001 mediums available for me to vent!

Any piece of information you receive on any online platform without a source (in form of a reputable news outlet website link) should be totally disregarded.

You are right sir, source is everything. Media outlets with reputation have lots to loose if they spread fake news. But you see these people who went into blogging as a result of unemployment have nothing to loose. They have no company names,no business account,they blog from their ragidy one room apartment. So they spread fake news without second thought. The use a random picture they saw online to generate news about death,rape, suicide etc.
