"His response was that" ‘My brother I am not around and you know this is politics’.

The certificate of that Doctor should be investigated. Such words cannot be spewed by a real doctor.
They politicise everything, even when the life of the citizens Is at stake.

Imagine the boosit!!

Don't be quick to Judge. You need to look at it from the other angle as well. You might do the same thing if you are the one as well. I'll think, they will want a photograph of you, the Dr, collecting the items and they will of course use it for campaign. I will refuse as well or tell them to deliver it through another means.

When people make donations of equipment to hospitals or even food stuff do they go through ministry of health and agriculture? When philanthropist go to hospitals to pay medical bills do they go through the ministry of finance? By your stand at ubth they should have refused and asked him to go through the federal ministry of health in Abuja. Let's call it what it is petty politics. That said I await a response from the government

In This time you do a customized hand sanitizer to give to health officials....lol and you call that philanthropist. Is this the right time to campaign? And you expect the management of the hospital to meet with your campaign manager or what ever he is and Collect customized hand sanitizers.... You are not a serious person

Can't they donate materials without customising them with their pictures and/or name? Any material having politician name or picture is politically motivated.

It's so unfortunate that many people don't read to understand before commenting on à post. " Dr Pius Odubu, immediate past deputy gov of Edo state who also, now doubles as factional APC governorship candidate. He came and donated Customized materials to a state Hospital. Is that not Campaign against his Governor? Is he not slighting d APC Governor? Why must he donate customized items at this time to a state Hospital? Why is he playing politics with people's lives? The Dr was very sensitive to d situation. He was employed by d state Governor; no body should use his office to settle political dispute.

It’s just a pity that everything has been politicized.
Please note it wasn’t stated anywhere in the news that the items were customized .
