Trump's comments made his extravagant claims for the unproven use of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine seem peer-reviewed by comparison. And they were ironic, given rising criticism that he repeatedly discredits science that conflicts with his rosy claims the pandemic will soon be over.

New data Thursday showed that 26 million Americans have lost their jobs in five weeks, reflecting the terrible human impact the current emergency can have even on people who don't get sick. The number of US deaths moved towards 50,000 as the virus dug into more communities -- even as a clutch of states laid plans to open back up.

I personally listen to the question from the CNN journalist, the question was on the effect of sunlight on the virus presented by some specialist, which Trump commented on and appreciated, as it can help in slowing down the spread as the virus cannot survive on dry and hot surface but never mentioned that it was a cure

Nobody said anything about injecting disinfectant. He made reference to the use of UV light through intravenous means to clean the blood and also chlorine dioxide. The same chlorine used in purifying drinking water...

I really do not understand why western doctors believe that if it is a cure is not coming from pharma companies it cannot be trusted. If actually science is about observation and trying out things i don't see the reason why they normally refuse in trying other options.
