My great grand father was forming bravery. Then he was applauded because he fought his way out of captivity. He was about being transported across the seas into slavery. By providence or sheer luck he cut his restraining chain and escaped.
He was hailed all round the neighborhood.
Today I realized that it was a big mistake. I would have been an American citizen if not for his actions.

My own father dated an australian woman in his youth.

He missed travelling to Australia because the letter the lady sent got lost in transit.

They met each other decades later.

Without hiding exactly how you felt upon hearing that, what were the first set of thoughts that ran through your mind? Funny tales shocked ... May God punish poverty.

Out of the people beget the leaders. They don’t fall from space or come from other countries. They are only but a reflection of the true nature of the people.

They call it Africa, some believe Africa is a country not a continent except for those who have mingled with Africans.

If only we had leaders with vision there should be nothing like dual citizenship, nobody should eat his/her cake and have it. When Nigeria is in problems they run, when things are good they return. If not that we lack good leadership such things should never be allowed to happen.

That is actually the reason why your threads are being deleted. If you were a tribal bigot or racist, all your threads would be gracing fp on a daily because the mods enjoy the tribalism and insults flying around in this poor forum

errr.. it is impossible, NO government can deny people dual citizenship, if people have ties to their country of origin like parents, uncles, cousins and grandparents. it would be impossible, Germany did it but it didn't work. it would be in breach of their fundermntal human rights. besides, i can bet my butt if you were in their position you will do the same.

Good luck cheesy

How would your great grand father have benefited from your being an American citizen? If fact, he benefited more by you not being one than him losing his freedom for your American citizenship. He did a good job

There is no perfect society, people in developed countries still disobey rules. All this assertion that people obey rule is a lie. It may be minimal unlike ours.

Don't kid yourself..

He might have died on the way to the ship, on the high seas, in any of the slavery holds, any of the plantations, killed as he tried bidding escape from the deep south.. Should I carry on

Please don't rubbish the pains nor the gross injustice or flagrant inequalities that have been meted out on these people. It's coloured other facets of life through generations, down even to the delivery of world justice...

Let's joke but in moderation
