With the rising number of new cases of infected individuals daily, the coronavirus index has surpasses 35,000 in the Saudi Arabia with the authorities struggling to contain the spreed.

For the pass week the day index cases is more than a thousand recorded but despite this spike the death toll is relatively low.

A police unit was previously formed to monitor the rate of compliance of people to the lockdown, Saudi has clearly stated that it ban gathering of more than five people with a fine of 100,000 riyals will be paid by defaulters of this law.

The first covid19 cases was recorded in the country on march 2, weeks after it has been recorded in several countries.
