What are the essential skills required to run an event outfit:

-Attention to detail...remember that you're working according to the specifications of your client so the attention to detail is very important.

-Communication.....you must be able to communicate with your client in other to bring their dreams to a realisation.it also helps with your bargaining power.

-Problem solving..... you should be able to solve arising problems from the beginning to the end of the planning of the event.

-Negotiation

-multitasking

-Budgetting

-Creativity

Now I usually dnt advice people starting up to offer all the event planning services at once.
How to make your money from event planning


If you decide to start with decorations,you make your money from decorations and rentals but if you dnt have materials.you would not be making enough money as the materials are necessary and need to be rented


Catering is the part of event planning that noone forgets in a hurry.if the food at the event is bad,90percent of the guests would remember.with a good outcome in the catering aspect referrals would be trouping in.
