There are often requests both online and offline for the cost of different vehicle parts, it would be very helpful to everyone to have a thread specifically for vehicle parts, to guide buyers and other motorists.

This thread would not be used for any adverts, end users, anyone who has information about any car parts or vehicle owners who purchase parts would be encouraged to post on the thread, which would ultimately be beneficial to everyone including the poster.

Some scenarios in which this thread would be helpful:

Mr A lives in Lagos and needs a Brake Master Cylinder for his 2009 Toyota Corolla. Instead of making calls, Mr A would simply search this thread for 09 Corolla Master Cylinder to have an idea of the cost, so he would be guided in his search.

Mrs C has a faulty alternator and wants a replacement for her 2012 Honda Accord in Abuja. Her mechanic told her it would cost 50,000 for just the part, Mrs C could check this thread to confirm

Mr K needs a complete engine for his 2009 Mercedes-benz C300, he could post an inquiry on this thread and anybody who has helpful information would reply.

Suggested format for posts:

Vehicle Make, Model and Year

Part Name (Local name and/or Official name)

Part type (brand new OEM, brand new non OEM, Tokunbo, etc)

Cost of the part

Picture(s) of the part

State or Market where the part was bought

The thread would only be as good as the posts and participation, we are all encouraged to post.
