Lagos NMA Calls Off Strike by Kwanza: 9:39am On May 21, 2020
The Lagos state chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association has called off its strike. The sit-at-home order was given on Wednesday, over constant harassment of Health workers in the state, by the police.

Chairman of the association, Saliu Oseni says the decision was reached after several meetings for peaceful resolution of the situation.

The Nigeria Police Force overreaches itself some times. Harassing those who are hazarding their lives to save the rest of us is not only improper and illogical, it is also crazy.

These essential service professionals should be encouraged and not bullied.
