In nigeria today, many people claim to be born again christians yet we see a situation whereby a born again will be living a particular life style while the other born again views that life style as a sin. It becomes neccessary for each an every one of us here to list such attitudes or behaviours we expect or dont expect from a born again christian. Everybody is free to contribute because i believe even the atheists, the traditional worshippers has behaviours they expect from someone who claims to be born again. Someone will definitely learn one or two things in your reply. God bless everyone.

Are you sure this is about learning

of course its all about learning. what else should it be for? I didnt say people should mention church or speak evil against any church or persons. Just list attitudes according to how you view them. In the process, one or two things might be learnt along the line. Personally I learn a lesson from a lot of posts here. Either to avoid or accept a particular thing or to be careful about something. Even in the words of a mad man, you can learn something if you choose to.
God bless you.

I think this is pretty straight-forward. Live the exemplary lifestyle that Jesus Christ lived. If we say Jesus is the essence of Christianity, then we must strive to Live the life he lived
1: Righteousness instead of Righteous Hypocrisy (Righteousness of the Pharisees & Sadducees)
2: Spiritual Growth over Material Acquisition
3: Love/Compassion for Non-believers rather than Social Isolation because it is said do not be unequally yoked with sinners
4: Social Correction instead of apathy for a society gone bad. this is where most Christians are guilty. (watching sexually suggestive music videos, wearing sexually suggestive clothes and love for money, wealth etc)

In summary you must Live the Faith (Word+Action) rather than Claim the Faith (Religion within your personal inclinations only)

@lagerwhenindoubt,
excellent post. God bless you my dear.

@mabell
there is nothing strange here. Its simply mention what a born again should or should not do especially considering life style in our society presently. A good example is what lagerwhenindoubt posted. Thats all and somebody will learn. God bless u.

a born again should not engage in dirty deals of any kind.
Should not give or take bribe under any guise.
Should not bear grudges rather he should follow peace with all men.
Should not short change somebody.
Should not use dirty languages.
Should not cheat for whatever reason both as a husband or as a wife or even during exams or when seeking for a job.
Should not support evil for whatever reason.
Shouldnt appear in seductive wears.
Shouldnt loot public, company, church or another man's fund.
Shouldnt engage in electoral fraud of any kind.
And the list goes on.
God bless u.
