Typical Nigerians, very selfish. We only interested in how much money we'll make,no compassion or empathy or whatsoever. No desire for invention or research or making a great name, only money. From the seat of the president to the governors to local government chairman to private sector employers to their workers to the civil servants to the self employed and even the jobless roaming the streets. |

omonnakoda:That is one of the problems we are having in this country. They will pay you minger salary and they will expect you to put your best or be patriotic. Take a look at the educational sector, teachers earn less than keke drivers. That sector is so bad that when you tell a lady," I am a teacher " she will start looking for ways of rejecting your proposal..."me nor go fit marry teacher o". Government should do something about the allowances ,they are too poor to take home |

CoronaVirusPro:Every individual decides why they do what they do. You cannot impose your beliefs or values on anyone. You need to check the meaning of murder Action or inaction in EVERY profession can result in death indirectly whether carpentry, bricklaying, tanker driving policing even government officials and politicians Nurses have families, landlords and responsibilities just like everyone No butcher will give you free meat because you are a nurse 1 Like |

Mypeople2:Would not be a problem if politicians made sacrifices too But they travel in convoy, have armed police round the clock and their children school abroad. If not for coronavirus they don't use Nigerian hospitals |

CoronaVirusPro: Human life is cheap in Nigeria., a brutish society The solution to that is not with nurses You need to channel your disappointment to the right target A carpenter doing a bad job can cost lives. Even a cleaner can cost lives if they are shoddy Same thing with a cook expand your consciousness 1 Like |

Mypeople2:8 It is these same Nigerians that would mock them when they are old and destitute saying they did not plan their lives We focus on the symptoms not the disease When governors award themselves life pension they keep quiet like sheep The issue with nurses here is just a symptom. The real disease is that resource are not allocated to the right priorities |

You leave nurses to work without proper facilities to work and protect themselves. Then you expect them to stay and put in their best. Not going to happen. 3 Likes |

The nurses are always at the receiving end of it all. I bet you, the doctors would have been taken care of. Those ones would get fat pay and hazard allowance with good treatment whereas the nurses who are more in contact with the patients wouldn't get anything... Enough of this shit... 3 Likes |
