I have asked this question a million times. I actually and truthfully want to know, but no one is answering. What does a nation stand to benefit by reporting coronavirus cases that would make a living being to conclude that coronavirus is a SCAM?

The problem of some in Nigeria is that they want to see pictures or videos of Covid-19 patients. When you show them video, they conclude it is malaria. When they report death, they exclaim 'oh nobody dies of nothing again other than Coronavirus'. When a survivor gives his experience, they ask how much he was paid. When daily results are released, they will say they have not seen anyone who knows someone who has the virus. When they see a covid patient they ask why is it that he is not on a ventilator, if he actually has coronavirus? When they see one in a ventilator they ask 'are you sure he is sick of covid and not something else?'.
Now, I have been asking, why will ALL THE COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD lie about a pandemic if it is not real? Lie to who, and for what?
Some complain that Nigeria's figures are not steady that it goes up and down. Which country's figure has been steady? Some say the original coronavirus has left Nigeria. I don't know if they were the ones that escorted it out. So where did it go? Oh! the figures are not real, they are inflated. Why will they inflate it? To achieve what?
Israel and Iran flattened their curves a few weeks ago, but today their cases are rising again. Nations that toyed with the pandemic at the beginning are reaping the horrific harvest now. Ask yourself sincerely, why will a country lie about coronavirus? To gain what? Which country or government on earth enjoys locking up it's citizens and be paying salary for work not done? See how u just acquitted the man. The fact he did it before means those ones did not die - therefore he also did not expect this one to die, talk less of intentionaly meaning to kill him. Hence there was no intent

I agree intent is usually difficult to prove. But in this case, from the video, its very obvious. So, unless the defense is mental instability, i don't see how you can choke a man for 9 minutes and then say you don't intend to kill him. The man was practically pleading with the officer not to kill him. The man informed him that he cant breath. He stopped moving and the officer did not let go of the choke hold. If the officer had let go of the choke hold and the man in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, then you can argue, he did not intend to kill him. But the man died before the arrival of the ambulance.

If after the clear cut video evidence with lots of witnesses, the police man (men) walks free, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the US justice system.

You are being understandably emotional but emotions don't win cases in court. You saw an intent to kill. A defence lawyer might see a standard procedure that went wrong. It is not open and close case like you think. Like I earlier stated, the defence lawyer might even claim that the sensationalism of the case would never guarantee a fair trial for his clients because people have already formed an opinion on the case. In that case, the case might not get to trial not to talk of conviction. The possibilities are endless in this case.
