That was Mtel N1000 recharged card. Nitel turned Mtel. That was my first line (2004) before switching to mtn. The company is grounded now

This is why I attach little value to airtime and most digital currencies. Once the company folds up, you money goes down the drain.


MTEL is no more, and that is likely someone's 1000 naira gone down the drain.
Who knows if he/she was an airtime dealer and has more of that.

That was my first line, Mtel. We used to have free text to other Mtel lines, free voice calls to other Mtel lines during certain promotions, free voice notes and double your recharge promo. Back when MTN was still charging 30naira a minute, they were charging N22 per minute. My whole family had Mtel. Nostalgia sha.
