AFRICAN UNION AGENDA 2063 AMBASSADORIAL ASSEMBLY AND ACTORS GUILD OF NIGERIA PARTNERSHIP

In its quest to actualize the Aspirations of the African Union Agenda 2063, the Actors Guild of Nigeria met with the African union agenda 2063 AMBASSADORIAL ASSEMBLY executives (an initiative of the AFRICAN UNION ECOSOCC) to foster mutual partnership to project, coordinate and create a more unifying the African movie industry that will make Africa proud.
During the meeting, the National Coordinator of the African union agenda 2063 Amb Ass. Mr. Joseph Ibeh highlighted the objectives of the project which is geared towards building the Africa we want. In concordance, the president actors guild of Nigeria Mr. Emeka Rollas thanked the AU Agenda 2063 AMBASSADORIAL ASSEMBLY for honouring it's actors and hailed the initiative as an organ to reckon with. He said in today’s generation, Nollywood has become a medium which society get update with what is happening around them which cut across Africa. He added that the guild will partner with the initiative especially in areas of Afrocentric content generation that will advocate the objectives of the Assembly and African Union Agenda 2063 for the growth of the continent.
The partnership also included the Pan-african Heritage Honours, a TV series and the apex African Movie Awards called African Theatre and Movie Awards ATFA all of which are initiatives and programmes of the AFRICAN UNION AGENDA 2063 AMBASSADORIAL ASSEMBLY.
The meeting was attended by the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria in person of Mr. Emeka Rollas, it's National Secretary, Mr. Abubakar Yakubu, Miss Ijeoma Imoh ( chief protocol), Onwurah Agility and Mr. Marcus Maina ( Vice-President North East). The AU Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly had its Coordinator Joseph Ibeh, Deputy Coordinator Aloku Miriam, Head of Programmes Samaila Vangawa and Head of Projects Mr. Chima Ejimofor all in attendance.
