I saw these sculptures on nairaland and I was surprised by the tribe markings. The first one look like the tribal mark found on Benin woman. The second one look like a Yoruba tribal mark

Igbos, Bini and Yorubas used to be one people who practiced similar cultures and spoke the same language in the distant past (like a thousand years ago). |
