Now unto Frozen -yoghurt. Just like we have an ice cream.

Recipes:

Frozen fruit
Greek yoghurt
Honey
Vanilla extract

The Greek yoghurt could be full fat or low fat, coz the more fat content, the more creamier

Optional ingredients are:
Fresh or frozen berries
Cocoa powder (if you want to make it chocolate) etc.

Tools:
Ice cream maker

We will also discuss home made without an ice cream maker

The Procedure :
Get a large bowl to combine all the ingredients you have. This will enable you to mix it together very well and thoroughly. Mix very well till its even and homogenized

Then you will place or turn your evenly mixed ingredients into your ice cream maker.

With the ice cream maker, you will mix for about 35-40 minutes or better until true consistency or homogeneity is reached with your ice cream maker.

After mixing in the ice cream maker,

Freeze for about 2 hours or more if you are not in haste

For the fro yo

Do note that the honey in this recipe is not just for sweetness; it’s what makes your frozen yogurt scoop-able. Sugar in a liquid form is what stops ice crystals forming and keeps the yogurt soft

Meaning the work of the honey in the ingredients is not just to sweeten but when you use it, it makes your fro-yo when ready to be scoopable

While using just sugar instead of honey makes ice not to form in the yoghurt, thereby making it too soft/watery

And another tips before going to home made wi5hout an ice-cream maker are

You can use any type of frozen fruit in this making your fro-yo. It sometimes change the face or color of the fro-yo

You can use any flavor and percentage of fat yogurt

You can add more or less honey based on the sweetness of the fruit and your own taste preferences.
For the fro-yo without an ice cream maker.
Get a food processor and in the bowl of a food processor, combine the frozen fruit (as per your taste and preference) ,
Greek yogurt,
vanilla extract and honey.

Then pour all the ingredients in the food processor.
Process the mixture until it is creamy, about 5 minutes or more until it's smooth and homogenous.

Then scoop the mixture in your preferred cup size. And put inside the freezer to freeze.
Serve the frozen yogurt immediately.

You can also transfer the mixture to an airtight container (cup or bowl with cover) and freeze it in freezer until ready to serve.

Note this :

The type and size of frozen fruit will determine how long it has to be blended in the food processor.
Sliced frozen bananas may require few minutes of blending,
while larger frozen strawberries or diced mango (harder fruits) may require up to more minutes minutes.
