3. Look for a valuer to know how much the property worth
4. Finally, do other search from the people around to know if there is no conflict on the land.
However, it is very good to know that the land is not under acquisition by the government, what about the one acquired by 2 parties and one want to sell fast? You need to avoid scamer because money is not easy to come by this days. What about your life? When you buy a land where there is conflict and the other party want the land by force, he might charm it or send you people that may hurt you or your family. So beware (As Yoruba people used to say that "Olowo n du oye, ologun n du oye- Tolowo ba joye, ologun ni yio pa.

Buyers are advised to check properly the property that they are about to buy before committing themselves both financially and otherwise. Some months ago, a man came to my office that he wants to buy a plot of land along Ikorodu road and I told him that there is non on that road yet, and those ones I have seen, are not genuine. When I told him that those landed properties are not genuine, he went on to other parties that planned against him and took ₦20m from him and later on he was given fake documents which he failed to investigate well on. However, he took those guys to the police and they promised to pay ₦20,000 every month. Tell me, is ₦20m like ₦20,000? Why not investigate well all properties first, before paying your money into the wrong hands, and bring to you and your family psychological trauma that may lead to either damage in your health or your life
