THE BEGINNING!!!
My name's Trish.Tricia Parker if we're making counts.My parents are Mr and Mrs Parker,the honourable owners of Gravantees Ville.Like I actually care.Dad and mum were really harsh on me on the course of growing up since I was their only child and they were too scared of letting me out.So technically,I was never really allowed to explore the world like the rest of the people.Hah!It didn't matter anyway cause I still had my ways of going against their bullshit rules without them actually knowing.Yeah yeah!Call it whatever but I'm a bad ass...And also crazy in a way.Haha!Just kidding!So where were we?Yes!So I had gained admission into this popular uni at the far side of Mitzchburg town where James resided.James was my bestfriend.Such sweet lad he was.We've been bestfriends right from kindergarten and ever since then,we've been partner in crimes.You know what I mean.Wink!I never really had a boyfriend.I don't really fancy guys much but when it came to James,it was different.Damn!He was literally good at everything and all I could yearn for,was to have him all to myself without those wacky-ass bitches crowding all around him.Anyway,sit tight people.This is all about me.

"This was my chance!"I said with delight as I made my way towards the door catching glimpse of my clothes.I quickly got hold of whatever pieces that were left and put it on as fast as I could before Lucas could get up from where he was groaning with pains.I guess that was his weak peak.I didn't care about that.I ran as fast as my legs could carry me flagging down the first taxi that drove past me.I got in not looking back as I ordered it to zoom off.I bet the driver must have gotten damn scared too seeing me like this.I could barely recognise my own self.How shattering!

"Come on out you bitch.What did I ever do to you?"I yelled again not hearing any one's voice.
The room seemed so quiet to my dismay unlike before when the sound of excessive booming of music could be heard.It felt really strange and I was starting to shiver.I knew something was up but I didn't know what it was.I bet if you dropped a needle or two,you'll hear them go clink.
"Humph!I bet she's hiding somewhere.Such cowardice!"I said shoving the fear off me as I headed towards the bathroom.
"Mmm,what's that s...."I said freezing at the spot.
Ka-Kara"I gasped with horror seeing Kara's lifeless body on our bathroom floor as blood gushed out from her private parts.She still had her clothes on.That means she never really got them off.
"Oh!No!No Kara!You can't die.You can't die on me Kara.I forgive you.Just please wake up.Wake up Kara"I cried bitterly shaking her but yet she still laid mute.I couldn't feel her heart beating anymore and her body was already cold as ice.

"Trish!We heard you scream and....Oh My God!Kara!!!!"Sophie and Daphne screamed with terror at the sight of Kara's body.

A month passed and yet,it still felt like Kara wasn't dead.I've moved in with Soph along with my whole stuff.Not leaving anything behind.I wasn't ready for any ghostly drama.It felt like a deserted area now and Lucas,hmm,I wonder what later happened to him.Not like I care anyway.It's quite fortunate I didn't end up pregnant for that dufus head.Yuk!

"Hum..Hum...Hum"I hummed in a sorrowful tune as I laid on the grass in our backyard looking up to the sky like someone in search of redemption.If there'll ever be one for me.It seemed it was going to rain but it didn't matter though.I just wanted to be here.At least,it reminded me of the one I once loved.It's being five months since I last heard from him.Of course,I'd have gone in search of him if not for the body guards that dad assigned to watch over me.I was a prisoner in my own home and it felt worse knowing that.Poor guy!Things wouldn't have been this way if I hadn't met him in that hallway.I sobbed letting my tears flow this time.

Everything seemed to be fading out rapidly as I saw myself on the brinks of death.I closed my eyes slowly feeling my strength drain out of me little by little...hearing the constant wailings of those little children ringing in my ears repeatedly from whence I knew nothing about.It was one hell of a nightmare and I wished to wake right up from it....If there'll ever be another chance for me....

"Noooooooooo.....!!!"I screamed so loud jerking up with full force from where I laid.I rolled my eyes around catching glimpse of my mum and Derek as they laid in wait for me with anxiety and tiredness written on their faces.The room had white cottons hovering on all corners with blue paints all around it and the bed which wore a clean white bedspread on,looked quite comfy and the strong scent of disinfectant which welcomed me back from the land of the dead almost got me puking but that wasn't what I was concerned about.

"B-baby?Gosh!My baby!I was so worried that I'd you...Doctor!Doctor!"she yelled joyfully at the sight of me waking up.

"Doctor?"I asked surprised as my heart skipped a bit.

"Oh,it's shit now?I'm three weeks pregnant Derek"I spoke out releasing the bombshell to his hearing.

"Yes!That's what!I'm pregnant and you're responsible Derek"

"It can't be,can it?We just made out once.How can it result to this?"he said pointing at the paper."Clearly the doctor must have made a mistake clarifying this"he said nervously.

"Oh,rhat's what I thought till I went to another hospital and the result came out the same"I shot back with pains lingering inside of me.

  "You ready Miss Parker?"Doctor Steve said to me as he spread my legs apart with the blue sheet wrapping the upper part of my body.I bet he isn't up to forty though.His taunty looks and enticing accent fully gives him out.You bet I paid him a whole lot of cash for this operation.I bet dad and mum wouldn't mind as they've got way more than that now.Like they actually knew what was going on with their daughter when their busy walking the runway at the presidential ville.Can't say I didn't miss those two...Heh!

"Mmm-hmm"I nodded like a rainbow lizard not taking my eyes off the scary stuffs he was going to use on me.I could feel my legs trembling from where they were spread apart and I could feel my heart racing sonorously now."Gosh!I hope I do make it out alive"I prayed silently as he brought the pan containing the materials closer.I can see them clearly now from where I laid like a helpless lamb waiting to be sacrificed.To me,this doctor was really a wack and also one hell of an a-hole if I'm not mistaken.That'll explain why he gave in immediately the moment I agreed to pay him off with a 500,000 token if it ever went successful.That's a cheap cash though.Wink!

"Tricia!Tricia,come back here!"the constant screaming of Derek's voice came hovering hap-hazardly in my ears all again.

"I'm sorry what?"the doctor asked peering those two eyes of his on me like a weirdo as he lowered the stainless scissors he had in his hands.

"Yes Chels!We really made it"I said as I embraced her and Daphne gently so I wouldn't trip from the the larky stilettos I had on.It didn't matter if I didn't come out with a first class like I always wished for but I was really grateful for reaching this far.At least a second class upper isn't that bad not after what I went through in the past.I can't believe they're nothing but mere memories now.If only Phil was here with us.I thought flashing back to the day we first met.Our love would have been one epic magical tide if not for the twisty storm that blew it all away but one thing's for sure,he'll never be unhappy seeing me achieve my dreams.

"Tricia Parker,are you crying?"Daphne said giving me a soft smile as she tucked her arms under mine.

"Ahem!I'm sorry to interrupt what seemed like a grandiose moment bu-bu-buut,she's all mine ladies"Derek cut in pulling me from them."Happy Convocation Day baby"he smiled kissing me romantically.

"Oh Derek!You made it!"I said with enthusiasm wrapping my arms around him.

"Woooo!He's so hansy"Chelsea chipped in giggling softly as she admired the super hot tuxedo that perfectly fitted imhis body.

"Trish is he..."Daph whispered leaning closer.

"Yes Daph!"I said to her,blushing withnin."Guys,meet Derek,my fiance"I said with enthusiasm as he stretched his hand out.

"Oh,right!Those girls you've been telling me about...Daphne and Chelsea am I right?"he muttered out surprising them.

"Uh-huh!Baby,this is Daphne and that's Chels"I grinned with pride as I continued with the introduction.

"Wow!It's such a pleasure meeting you Derek"they smiled pleasantly."We've heard so much about you"

"Oh really?Isn't that intriguing?"he said glancing at me with an eye I could interpret.

"Well,whoo girls,I'll see you later all right?"I said to them as Derek and I went to take a seat with the rest of the families that came to watch their kids(now turned adult) go into another phase of her life.Just like Derek and I who's gonna be expecting our baby very soon.How I wish my parents weren't so busy at work.I really miss them.

"Trish,there are some people that'd be sure pleased to see you.Ready to meet them?"he asked arching his brows up as he let his hand out for me to take.

"Hmm,wh...."I said with interest rolling my eyes around.

"Happy Convocation Day Baby!!!"my mum and dad popped out right in front of me with their voice ringing in delight.

"Whoa!Oh My God!Mum...Dad!"I screamed rushing into their arms as Derek took the buttery strawberry topping cake from my mum so it wouldn't slip from her hands.

"Aww,come here honey.We love you"my dad said wrapping his arms around us as he dragged Derek in too.

"Ohh!Good old pops.I really missed the lovely scent of that chalent cologne of his he always wore on.

"We're really proud of you baby.Ohhh!We missed you.We should have waited for Derek to come bring you to us like we planned but I just couldn't wait to see my baby.Guess we ruined the surprise afterall.Haha!"she laughed softly caressing my cheeks.

"Are you kidding me?This sure is the most amazing day ever"I yelled happily hugging them all again.

Days passed all again and Derek and I got married the following week with lots and lots of people of both the higher class and the normal filling the reception of our hotel to welcome the newly weds.I've never seen anything like it.There was plenty of food to go around for everyone as my dad had the best chefs and decorators in town hired just to make our wedding party the best of all.It was indeed the best glamorous June wedding the town's ever heard.

"You ready for me to steal you off?"Derek whispered in my ears as he gripped my waist gently on the dance floor with my not so tight flowery gown pulling behind.

"As ready as I'll ever be!"I giggled with the rhythm of the soul music echoing all around.

"That's right baby!Let's get this party rolling,shall we?"he chuckled glueing his lips on my mind.

  We were on our honeymoon now and it was such an enticing one as Derek couldn't get his paws off of me.We first flew to Paris and stayed for a month over there before leaving for Dubai,a place that seemed so much like heaven.You bet I ate all the food over there,well mostly the spicy ones and the sardine loaded as my appetite for those increased rapidly as the months went by.We'd have gone right off to another place if not for my condition and so we went back home completely unaware of what my dad had install for us.He got us on Irina Island,a private resort that laid on the far side of Marika Cannery at Beverly hills which was several miles away from Hennsen.Dad had bought that Island unknowingly to us a couple of months ago and now,he wants Derek and I to have it since he never got to explore it.One perks of being a billonaire.The Island was really an intriguing one as there laid a huge glass house right next to the beach side and also beautiful white furniture placed on all corners alongside some picture frames and an awesome fireplace too with no one bothering us in anyway.Derek and I never failed to spend a romantic time out on the cozy beach and when we retired back inside,he wouldn't miss making out with me over and over again although he went pretty gentle since I was way loaded now with my tummy protruded hugely like that of a stuffed gummy bear...Let's just say,we're expecting our baby any day now.How exciting!

"Morning my love"Derek spoke softly planting kisses on my neck as I laid with my eyes closed.

"Oooo,Derek stop.It's only 7"I said with a shrug making to face him as I cupped my hands around his cheeks.

"Hmm,no it's almost 8 O'clock"he grinned kissing me romantically

"Hhh!Do you always have to think about sex?"I smiled wrapping my arms around him as he got in between my legs.

"Mmm-hmm"he said softly as I laid motionless with him right on top of me.

"Hang on baby.I need to use the bathroom"I said getting up weakly as I felt my baby kick inside of me.
"Oh,whoa!That was harsh"I muttered under my breath reaching for the bed stand.

"W-what's wrong?"he asked looking scared.

"I-I...Ah!"I groaned suddenly making him panic.

"Trish!!!"he yelled reaching for my hands.

"Ahh..woo"I breathed out as I felt the water soak the helm of my gown."I can feel...Oww!She's coming out fast...De.....rek!!!"I screamed in pains as I held him tight.

"Just hang in there baby.It'll be over soon,trust me"he assured me holding my hands firm as led me outside carefully towards where the car dad gave us as a little token.

"Derek!"I panted heavily as the contractions came again making me tighten my hands on his right arm and on the car seat too as we drove off to the hospital which I guess was some hundred miles away from here.

"Shh baby,don't say anything now.Just breathe.Breathe okay?Everything will be all right soon,I promise."he soothed rubbing my waist as I  screamed and breathed non-stop with my eyelids glued on each other as it seemed I was going to explode any time soon.

"I doubt I'll make it any further"I muttered inside letting myself get flushed up in my own fantasy world....

"Ring,ring!"our doorbell rang.

"Who's there?"I asked as I breastfed my little princess,Ryn.A jewel God had blessed me with.Corinne's her full name actually.I named her after my late grams.I bet if she were to be alive,she wouldn't mind holding her great-grand daughter in her hands right now.Oh,Cherry...Cherry honey,please get the door for me"I called to our househelp,a girl of about nineteen or so who mum had called to help with the house chores since the doctor said I needn't do anything for now since I gave birth through cesarean.

"Yes ma!"she said jerking the door ajar as an average young lady in a padded grey jacket hung up across her shoulders with a dark shady glasses and a sided parted brown braided  hair came right in"

"Chels!"I said with surprise cause I certainly wasn't expecting her to be back from Thailand.

"Bonjour!"she said happily wrapping her arms around me."Damn!I missed you bestie.And aww,who do we have here?"she bent down admiring the cute adorable creature that looked so much like me.

"Chels meet Ryn.Baby say hi to Aunt Chelsea"I teased placing her in Chelsea's arms carefully.

"My God!She looks a lot like you Trish.I bet this damsel's gonna drive some guy crazy when she grows up"she teased as Ryn looked at her with those tiny blue eyes of hers even though she wasn't seeing anything yet.She definitely took those from Derek.Ha!

"So uh,where's Prince Charming?"she giggled not taking her eyes off Ryn.

"Oh you!You still haven't changed,have you?"

"Ha!Believe me,you don't wanna know"she winked.

"Oooo,I see someone's becoming a bad ass"I said as we both laughed."Hang on,you need anything?"I asked with concern.

"Oh don't bother.I just came for this little damsel"she smiled peering down on Ryn again."Who's my favorite girlie?Who's my favorite girlie?"she teased kissing her smooth oval face."Gosh!She's really beautiful"she smiled resting her against her body as she dozed off gently sucking her mouth in the cutest way I'd ever seen.

"Aww,so cute"I said staring at her with admiration."Goody!Now baby's asleep,will  you like to est something?I bet you're quite starved"

"Cherry!"I called out before she could stop me."Do bring our guest something to eat hon.We've got plenty to go around"

"Hhh,Trish"she said glaring at me playfully.

"What?!Heh!I can't starve you,you know that?Just relax!This house is as we as yours"I said taking Ryn from her.

"Ah-hah!I knew I heard someone's voice downstairs"Derek said walking downstairs.

"Oh Derek!It's such a pleasure meeting you again"Chelsea said."I can see you're taking care of my sister pretty well.She's all puffy now"she laughed squeezing me.

"Mmm-hmm!You can say that again"he said coming close to me as he had his arms around my waist."Here,my turn"he smiled rubbing his hands against each other as he carried Ryn from me.

"Oh,be careful baby.You don't want to wake her up"I said cautiously as he carried her upstairs.

"Why are you smiling?"I asked catching sight of Chels who was smiling by the corner.

"You and Derek...Uh-huh!Remember that time you said you weren't going to date someone like him?Remember?Remember?"she laughed rubbing her arms on mine.

"Oh,c'mon.That's totally in the past now.Besides,Derek's the perfect one for me"

"I know right?You really are lucky Trish.Look!"she said stretching her fingers out as I gazed at the diamond ring that stayed fixed to her middle finger.

"OMG!!!!"I screamed with delight at the sight of it.

"You're engaged?!"

"Mmm-hmm!She nodded blushing really hard.

"Chelsea Peterson is really engaged...OMG!I screamed again hugging her with joy.

"I'm so happy for you bestie.Who's the lucky guy?"I asked with interest.

"Christian..."she squealed happily.

"Wow!So you two relationship was really that serious?Awwwww!Come here baby.I'm really happy for you guys.Gosh!"I said hugging her again.

"I knew you would"she giggled brushing her hair off.

"Hang on,you showing already?"I asked staring at her tummy that seemed a lot normal.Chels always had such flat model-ish tummy so I wasn't surprised at that.Hah!

"Not quite but very soon I hope.But we're definitely going to push through with the wedding the moment he gets back from London"

"Here ma'am!"Cherry walked in with a tray comprising a plate of food and a bottle of champagne with a glass laid beside it.

"Here,here dear.You may go now"I said signalling to her.

"So uh,I heard Sophie is getting married either.Heard from them?"she chipped in.

"Wow!I didn't know.Haven't heard from D yet but hope she's alright?"

"Yup!As fine as ever"she said getting up to eat.

"Let's pop this like old time's sake,shall we?"she muttered out loud lifting the bottle up.

"Ahh!I can never forget that"

"To Trish"she chuckled popping the  bottle open as it went ka-boom.

"Whoo!You know it babe"she said as we yelled in unison topping our glass with such charming smiles spread across our face.

  It was nighttime and it was way past midnight now as Derek and I laid in bed with the sounds of slimy toads and creepy crickets echoing loudly as they went about that usual jolly meetings in the still of the night.You know,back when I was little,if I didn't finish off the food mum packed for me,she would go about telling me tales regarding the slimy oaf frogs that usually made scary noises whenever they came across little creepers like me.They would go right off in sticking their tongues into their fussy little ears if they ever found out they had some leftovers with them but it never really happened.So much for an old wives tale,huh?!

"Ry...Ryn...Corinne!!!"I screamed so loud jerking up from Derek's arms as I breathed unceasingly searching my eyes around as I looked at my baby who was sleeping peacefully in her cot.

"Trish?Baby what's wrong?"Derek followed as he jumped out of the bed.

"I-Gosh!"I exclaimed panting heavily."I had a really bad dream"

"A nightmare?"

"Yes!There was a man..A man in a black coat"I swallowed hard as I rolled my eyes around the room terrified."I-I couldn't see his face as he had a mask on.Yes a mask.He-he was standing right over there"I continued as I pointed towards the curtains that swayed back and forth at the wind's command.

"Over there?Baby it's just a dream.C'mon let's go back to sleep"he urged me pulling me down.

"I know but Derek he had our daughter with him.He had her.I wanted to run after him bu-but I couldn't jump off the rails as it was too late"I said with pains flooding me as I wrapped my palms around my mouth.

"Shh-shh!It's just a dream okay?Our baby is right here.Look!"he smiled turning my face in the direction where she laid."No one will ever take her away from us.No one will I promise"he assured as he ushered me back in bed.

"Ye-yeah!"I said still shaking as I had my eyes on the swinging curtains that seemed to have a shadow imprinted on the other side.

"C'mon honey,don't tell me you're still afraid of the dark"he said with a chuckle squeezing me against his bare chest.

"I'm not afraid,humph!"I said with a shrug as I got up beside him pretending to be mad.

"Oh,c'mon.Don't be like that"he teased tickling me softly as I tried not to laugh.

"Derek stop it!Stop it Derek.People will hear us"I laughed giving in to his silly tease.

"Oh,really?"

"Derek!"I said terrified."De-Derek,I think someone's peeking at us behind that glass"I said with fright as I clung onto him,burying my face in his arms.

"Seriously?You've got to be kidding me baby"he said getting up as he slid the glass door open,poking his head outside to check if anyone was truly there like I claimed.

"Derek!"I called back as I got up putting on my night robe.

"See!I told you no one was there.You're such a scary kitty"he uttered mockingly.

"Argh!Seriously!I could have sworn I saw someon there"I heaved a sigh as I laid back down with Derek tucking me in gently.

"Just chill.If anyone ever came at you or our baby,he'd definitely taste my fist.That you can count on mi Vita Mia"he said with a smirk getting in beside me as he rolled the duvet back.

"Ha-oh,my husband's so strong"I laughed kissing him softly."Hang on,what's that word?Is it Spanish?"I asked with curiosity as I got on top of him with my hands properly placed on his body.

"Nope.I do think t's German,I'm not quite sure anyway"he chuckled."But I do know what it means"he said bringing his lips down on mine as he bit it gently."My,you taste sweet"

"Ohh please,don't change the subject"I giggled with a smile.

"Ha,oh well,Vita Mia is a short phrase for my life.And that makes you my own Mia"

"Is that so?"I said arching my brows at him.

"Mmm-hmm!"he muttered putting me down as he got right on top of me.

"Oh,not now baby.Remember what the doctor said about not working myself out for the meantime"I said pushing him off gently.

"Hmm,I remember quite well but I never heard him say anything about having fun with my wife.C'mon honey,I've missed doing this with you,you know?Just this once"he said pleadingly as he slipped his hands under my garment.

"Derek?!"I said displeased pushing his hands away carefully.

"Oh,fine then.You win!"he said with a shrug as he got off me.

"Baby,c'mon,it's not like that"I said as I made to lie on his chest.

"Then what is it?You still love him,don't you?"

"I'm sorry,what did you say?!"I gasped with disbelief getting up from his arms.

"Forget about that honey"he smiled kissing me on my shoulders as he pulled me back with him"Let's get some sleep now.It's almost sunrise"

"Y-yeah!Sure!"I smiled faintly closing my eyes partially as I sank lost in thoughts.


"Goodmorning ma!"Cherry greeted as she stood right next to me with a flower in her hands.

"Cherry?"I got up pushing the duvet off me as I caught sight of an empty bed."Cherry w-what are you doing up here?"I asked fixing my eyes on her with disgust.

"I'm sorry ma but the delivery man left this with me and he said I was to give them to you"she said innocently as she handed the flowers over to me.

"A bouquet of flowers?Aww,how sweet "I blushed hard as I gazed at the roses sweetly.
"Did he say anythingelse?"I asked with eagerness as I felt a tingling feeling in my belly.

"N-No ma!"

"Hmm"I said shrugging my shoulders as I got up."You may go now and oh,don't forget to tidy up the wine cellar when you're done.It's pretty dusty"

"Sure ma'am!"she said as she walked out shutting the door gently so she wouldn't wake my sleeping beauty up.

"I wonder why he had to leave so early today"I said disturbed."I hope I didn't annoy him last night?Ohh!"I thought as I made for the bathroom.

"Cher...Cherry darling where are you?"I called softly as I walked downstairs with Ryn in my arms.

"I'm here ma!"she said with a trashcan in her hand.

"You still working?You should definitely get some rest now"I said with a concerned look.

"Oh,It's nothing ma.I'm almost done anyway"she smiled pushing the front door open as Derek popped in.

"I was just about to knock.Where are my girls?"he teased rushing in as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Hey honey.You're back"I said as I planted a peck on his cheek.

"Mmm-hmm!I'm sorry I had to leave without telling you.Something came up at the hotel so I didn't wanna bother you"he said taking Ryn from me.

"Oh it's fine.I was just worried but it's good you're back now"I said kissing him slightly."By the way,saw the flowers you sent me.It's really beautiful.You really do know my taste"I smiled as we sat on the couch.

"Flowers?What flowers?"he asked with an astonished look that sent a direct signal to me.

"Uh,the roses?I had Cherry put it in the stone vase over there.Look!"I said pointing towards where the vase stood on the shelf."Weren't they from you?"I asked with fright.

"I didn't send anything.Why didn't you call me right off?"he said with rage in his eyes.

"What?Baby calm down.What's gotten into you?"

"What's gotten into me,huh?Some ghosty lame ass sent you flowers in my own home without any iota of respect and you're telling me to calm down"he barked on top of his voice

"Baby I never knew.Please keep your voice down"I said trying to calm him down as I took Ryn from him for fear of dropping her.

"Cherry!"he yelled furiously as Cherry walked in.

"Yes sir!"

"Dispose these off immediately"he said handing both the flowers and the vase over to her."I never want to see them lying around ever again,you hear me"he commanded making towards the stairs.

"Baby..."I glared trying to rock Ryn to sleep.

"Not another word Tricia"he shot back cutting me off.

"Believe me,I had no idea they weren't from you and besides I saw no name on the card so I assumed you wanted it to be a surprise.Why are you so mad at me for what I know nothing about?"

"You think this is a joke?Look around Tricia someone's...."he said pausing halfway as he turned around."You know what,let's talk upstairs"he bellowed hard as he went up without looking back at me.

"Here!Goodmorning aunt"she greeted politely.

"Yeah morning dear.Are you done with everything now?Cause I really need you to look after this child while I'm gone"I said placing Ryn on her arms carefully as I took my black leather bag from the chair.

"Yes ma!"

"Don't forget to feed her.I've gotten everything ready for you.I promise,I won't be long"

"All right ma"she nodded quietly.

"Wait!"I called back as memories of the mysterious gifts we've been finding at our doorstep ran through my mind inducing fear in me.It's being six months now and the mystery guy is yet to be revealed.And aside that,Derek's anger and overprotective scheme had aggravated to another level and were getting the best of him with each day that got by.In the outside world,people envied us so much and wished to be like us cause they thought us to be one perfect match whenever we went out together.If only they knew what was going on,on the inside.

"Um,you know what"I said curving my lips in a shapey kind of way."Go get me her food flask upstairs"

"And her dress bag?"she chipped in.

"Not again"I sighed ignoring his annoying ranting.

"You are my wife and I ought to know what ever moves you make.So don't give me that woman"

"Babe not now please.You can see our daughter's here.Do you always have to make such a fuss out of everything?"I glared with fury as I placed her in the walker."Fine!I'm off to a friend's house and I'm taking Ryn with me.Do you have a problem with that?"I asked as everywhere became silent."You're not going to answer?Then fine!Suit yourself.I'm out!"I said making to leave as I felt his strong grip on me.

"Derek!"I groaned as I tried to release myself."B-Baby stop!Ouch!Stop it!You're hurting me"I cried in pains as Ryn also followed as though she knew what was happening.

"You're going no where Tricia.Come with me"he said dragging me upstairs.

"Aunt,is everything alright?"she asked innocently walking downstairs.

"Hmm"I muttered inside with weird thoughts flooding my mind.

"Yes dear!"I laughed trying to act all normal."Let's get going...Can we go now baby?"

"Mmm,I don't see why.Just be safe you guys.I'll see you when you get back alright?"he smiled pretentiously,kissing me as he ushered us to the door."Hold on,what's this?"he asked as he glared at the package on the porch with rage.

"B-babe..."I stared with fright.

"Oh don't be scared now.I won't fret this time.Come on now"he reassured wearing a faint smile on as he led us out,shutting the door firmly.


"Chels,can I talk to you about something?"I whispered lowly.

"Shh!"I signalled to her as I motioned with my eyes towards where Cherry sat engrossed in her favourite telenovela show.

"Ohh!Let's talk in the kitchen"she said to me as we quickly got up.

"Cherry,stay here with Ryn.Aunt Chelsea and I will be back soon,all right?"

"Sure aunt"she smiled glueing her eyes back on the huge LED screen again.

"So,what do you wanna tell me Trish?Did you and Derek have a fight again?"

"Well,not really"I said with a faint smile on as I got the tap running in case Cherry was eaves dropping.

"Shh.I don't want some silly rat to go ranting out"I laughed.

"You mean,your househelp?C'mon babe,she can't try such"

"I know but I don't know what she's capable of anymore"

"Hmm,did she do something wrong?"

"Well,not yet but let's not talk about her.Something really strange has being going on at our house lately but I haven't told you yet"I muttered breathing out loud.

"Strange?What happened this time?Hope Derek didn't go on with beating you like he threatened cause I'm definitely going to give him a piece of my mind if he really did"

"Oh,calm down punchey.Derek didn't do anything.In fact,he's being so sweet lately"I swallowed hard trying to sound convincing.

"Not really"I said down casted as I stared at the carpet tiles.

"I can't stop cause it's really hurting knowing the one guy I got to love turned out to be an entirely different person"

"Daddy bought it for me mommy"

"I think he went out ma'am cause we haven't seen him.Not since noon"Cherry chipped in handing out a glass of water to me.

"Oh!Now what?"I groaned as the alarm clock rang loudly beside me.
"Someone has got to give that clock a slam"I said grudgingly as I stretched my hands towards the stool where it stood looking at me.

"You showering already?"I called as I heard the sound of water rushing in the bathroom.

"Derek!God!Baby you scared me?What were you doing out there all by yourself?Look at the time,it's just 5 am in the morning"I muttered under my breath as I ran my hand on my hair.

"Good morning my love"he said sweetly wrapping his arms around me.

"Mh-mm!I really thought it was some Ogre.God!Don't do that again all right?"I laughed kissing him slightly.

"Mmm!Then this Ogre must be really hot"he teased as he took my lips back again.

"You look cheery today.Spill it!"I said playfully caressing the hairs that stood magnificently on his broad chest.

"Haha!You're so silly"he laughed tickling me till he got me laughing.

"Derek stop...Oh stop it"I laughed so hard.
"The tap's still on,you know?"I said wiggling out from him.

"Awe,not so fast baby"he said pulling me back.
"The bus isn't coming till 7.So we've got plenty of time to make out"he smirked biting my lower lip.

"Not now baby.You know I still need to go to work and not just that,I've got some cases I'm working on and I need to leave early.So we can't do this right now"I said with a shrug pushing him off gently.

"Awe c'mon baby.You're always saying that.Just like last night,you came back home looking all tired and you said the same thing.In fact,you're always doing it.When will you ever stop choosing that work of yours over me?"he said indignantly letting go of me as he made towards the door.

"Baby please you have to understand.I'm doing this for us,you know that"I called back hastening towards him.

"For us?Ha!You're unbelievable"he chuckled maniacally making to face me.
"Because you've got the certificate and all huh?You deliberately work yourself out every day so you won't have to come back home and satisfy me.You think I didn't notice?Huh?!I can't believe I married someone like you"he coughed out sending hurting arrows into my chest.

"What?Baby you don't mean that,do you?"I uttered shockingly as I staring at him with unending pains and hurt.

"Oh,I do mean it all"he barked furiously clenching his teeth in a more scary way.
"You know what Trish,just let me be"he shot back slamming the door roughly.

"Baby I'm sorry.I'm really sorry"I muttered to myself slumping to the flowery-tiled floor with hot tears running down my cheeks.

  It was one dreadful scene and I so wished the ground will open right up and take me with it.It's all Phil's fault.He never should have left.He never should have.I weeped endlessly letting the tears soak the pyjamas I had on.

"I miss you Phillip.Please come back.Come back"I cried endlessly as I felt my throat get all sore and dry.

"Hang on.What are you doing Trish.C'mon,get your ass up now.You're stronger than you know.I know you can beat it girl.Get up!Hurry!"my conscience came countering as I jerked up swiftly on realizing I've being crying for long.

"Almost 6!"I gasped looking up at the wall clock that hung above our plasma TV.
"I better head out"I said regaining back my strength as I hurried out,carefully shutting the door so I wouldn't wake anyone up.

"Mommy?"Ryn called with her usual baby voice tugging at my red PJ's.
"Where are you going mommy?I want to come with you"she continued dragging her little brown bear with her.

"Baby!Oh c'mere,did I wake you up sweetheart?"I asked concerned as I carried her up.

"No mommy.I heard daddy's voice again and that got me scared"she sulked as she rubbed her eyes wearily.

"Oh no baby.Daddy and mommy were just talking all right.Where's Cherry?You shouldn't be out of bed just yet.Are you sick baby?"I said feeling her forehead.

"Nah-ah"she giggled softly covering her face with her baby palms.
"I snuck out mommy so aunt Cherry won't yell at me.You should see her mommy.She's drooling again"she said innocently making me laugh.

"Oh baby.Let's go downstairs now so we can get you ready for school"

"Daddy"she yelled excitedly getting down from me as I watched Derek carry her onto his laps.

"Oh hi baby.Whoo!You're up so early"he said to her not even caring if I was standing right next to him.

"Uh-huh!Mommy said we're going to go get some ice cream today"she said happily wiggling her tiny legs.

"Really?Mommy's so sweet"he smiled looking up as I quickly moved my eyes to the wall clock pretending he wasn't there.

"Uh baby,stay here okay?Let me go get your food ready.I bet Cherry will come tidy you up soon"I said pecking her on her forehead as I rushed off not giving Derek a single glance.

"He deserves it..Humph!Some jerk he is"I breathed turning the cooker on.
"It's only a matter of time and things will go back to the way it was"I reassured myself holding back my tears.

  I don't blame the little girl though.Whenever Derek was in his right mind,he didn't mind fetching Ryn from school since her school ride only drops her off at school and not the other way.That's how I wanted it anyway.

"Oh nothing baby.Daddy's just busy for now"I said with a faint smile spread across my lips as I focused on the steering.

"Awe,but mommy,daddy's never busy for me.Did I do something wrong?"she said soberly folding her arms.

"Oh no baby.It's not that.Daddy just wanted me to go pick you up.That's all"I lied.

"Okay mommy"she said relaxing back again as she kept mute all through the drive.

"Hhh!It feels really awkward lying to my own daughter.When will this stop?"I yanked inside.

"Yes dad.We even saw our friend Ryn at the eatery we went to"Stephanie said.

"And her mother,Mrs Matthews"Stacie cut in.

"Daddy!Daddy!"Ryn called happily the moment we stepped into the house.

"Here aunt.Let me help you with that"Cherry said politely as she took the grocery bags from me.

"Daddy look at my pink unicorn.Isn't it pretty?"she smiled showing Derek the unicorn I got her as he got up from the sofa not uttering anything.

"Baby can you at least look at her.That's our daughter talking for crying out loud"I muttered with disgust as I rolled my eyes on him.

"Mommy"she said soberly as she ran into my arms.

Mommy's right here okay?"I said cuddling her as I watched Derek walk right up inducing more fury in me.

"Oh I-I'm sorry.I thought you were someone"I apologised as I walked back to the car with my heart aching so much.

"Ma'am!Ma'am are you okay?"Henrik panicked as he caught sight of the tears in my eyes.

"Y-yes!Yes I'm fine.Let's go home"I smiled faintly getting into the car as he zoomed off.

"Why does my mind always have to play tricks on me?Phil where are you?Why haven't you looked for me all these years?It shouldn't have been this way for us.It shouldn't have"I groaned inside as memories of what we shared way back came flooding my mind again as a drop of tears dropped off soaking my chiffon.

"Ma'am is something wrong?"Henrik asked with concern as we approached Changeling street.Our own street was the next after that.So we weren't so far now.

"Yeah I'm fine"I consoled wiping my tears off."Hang on,is that..."I stared with shock at the sudden sight of Cherry flagging down a white taxi.

"I wonder where she's off to"I breathed as I saw the taxi zoom off quickly.

"Uh,Hen,please follow that car"I said determined as Henrik kicked the car on at his command and started off.We drove on for almost an hour before the taxi came to a halt and Cherry got out paying him off to my surprise.

"Like where the hell did she get that large amount?"I stared astonished as I watched her walk towards some prison yard which had Century prison inscribed on it.

"Century prison?What the hell is she doing in this horrible place without my consent?I said disturbed as I ordered Henrik to drive a little closer.

"It's dangerous ma'am.We don't know what intentions this girl has"he said cautiously as if he was aware of what was going on inside.

"Let's get going now"I said to him as he got the car moving again.

"Of course.Who else will I be talking about if not Mac's baby mama.Man,you should see the way he stares at her picture everyday"he said mockingly as he rolled the dice on the desk.

"Ha!Ray!But I gotta admit,we really put on quite a show back there"

"That's right boss.Too bad you had a change of heart,I bet we would have had her by now"Ray sighed.

"Guys!I got this"Mac cut in,signalling to them as they both left shutting the door behind.

"Mrs Singer!"Mac called as he wore a grin on."My my my,you really do have some nerves barging into my office just like that.I could call my bodyguards on you,you know that"he laughed walking towards her.

"There there Phil.There's no need to get all fussy now.It's not like I'm some stranger"

"Whoo!Finally!"Phil's voice rang clearly from the other line making me freeze.

"Where is he?I said where is he Chelsea?"I sobbed moving towards her.

"Trish you're making this really hard for me.I know you love Phil.I know you still do but think about Derek.What if he gets to learn about this?He'd get really furious.I don't want to put you at risk my friend.Please understand"she said passionately cupping my face.
