Kayne West broke the news about Yeezy Gap partnership deal on Friday. And just in time, he's recruited Nigerian-British designer Mowalola Ogunlesi to the Yeezy Gap design team. Mowalola Ogunlesi who undoubtedly has an impressive and extensive design catalog was announced as the director of Yeezy Gap. And she has since confirmed on Instagram. Mowalola has previously worked with talented R&B artists like Kelela, Steve Lacy, and Solange, as well as collaborating with British rapper Skepta on his “Pure Water” video. The now highly-anticipated collaborative venture with Gap has an anticipated 2021 launch and is a 10-year deal with a choice to renew after the first five. Congratulations to her!
