Good for her. Personally, I feel that most prisoners are in their situations because of choices they have made. How about fighting for the plight of those who don't even have the power to make a choice in the first place? But then again, a cause is a cause - better to stand up for something, than to remain indifferent.

Two years after beating up Rihanna, C.B is still suffering for it. But this b!tch who murdered -yes, murdered- an innocent man, showed NO remorse, served an unreasonable term (or did she) is being left off the hook so easy. Yes, life goes on and forgiveness is all but. . . , Forgive the venom.

She smashed into a doctor's car while driving under influence killing him on the spot. She showed absolutely no remorse to the poor man's wife.

My people I don't think she went to prison, we for hear am now. Not even house arrest. She wrecked Agatha's home in Collabo with Fred himself, had his baby, clubbing and killed a doctor. No justice was done. I guess she is using the connection she had to stay out of prison to set 'fellow' prisoners free.

Kudos to you ibinabo.keep it up.
For those of u calling her names,u are just misinformed pessimist. If u r asked now how she is a murderer u wont having anything reasonable to say. Just out there to assasinate peoples character out of jealousy.
She was never even charged for murder rather it was a case of manslaughter cos it was a car accident which if u have ever driven a car u will know that it can happen to anybody.
She was speeding away from a car that she felt was trailing her and in the process of desperation ran into a car coming from d opposite direction and d man driving died.
Am sure you dont even know d story but quick to call her murderer cos u heard it from ur misinformed co-travellers.
Even if she was a murderer now dat shes doing something to atone for d wrong doing we shld gv her a chance.theres always room for forgiveness. Yea! she served d prison term for manslaughter n got released just last year. You would hv known if u read d papers.

@orgasm
Are you trying to tell us, that the newspaper report
about her driving under the influence of alcohol and
that she hit the doctor and ran away noticing he was dead.
and the money or bribe she gave to close the case, are all
false or reported out of  jealousy.
Re: Ibinabo Fights For The Rights Of Prisoners by victorazy(m): 9:55am On Feb 01, 2011

the woman killed a man (drunk driving) who was the breadwinner of his family, now the wife and two kids are left high and dry. She did not serve her jail term either cos of the screwed up legal system in Nig or cos shes a celeb. now shes walking the streets free, doing crap about prisoners, a cause that wont get anywhere, thats even if the news is true. who knows whether she payed a reporter to write the story.
It is totally unfair.

she was never running away from anybody. the dr in question was held up in an holdup at the opposite side of the road. she was coming from a club, driving drunk and she committed the attrocity. even though it is not a murder case, she was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment or option of 100,000 naira fine which she did at the entrance of the court. the family of the doctor see this as an insult since they are not that poor, they are in a position to give this money to a begger who needs it urgently. the doctors wife had sued for a hundred million naira compensation

The stupid binch killed a doctor, a husband, a man, a father, a brother, yet she is still walking and speaking to the media. She should be in a prison and not on the streets.
You people supporting her are animals, either because you are unreasonable or none of your family members is dead.
The pain of loosing someone all because of a drunk b!tch is unbearable. The wife is a widow, children are fatherless, what they have left are memories only. Yet she is still alive and showing her face on every newspaper and tv because she's now a philanthropist? Or born again? She shouldn't even be in Nigeria.
In some hard families, this b!tch would have been shot dead weeks after she murdered the doctor. She should never speak again.

i dey laugh o!! cheesy

The binsh was drink driving - how did she feel someone was chasing her. I saw absolutely zilch remorse from the idiot before the jail term. She is a typical example of the arrogant idiots we have on our roads at the moment.

Not according to my calendar and my knowledge of numbers.

Last time I checked, she was given a 7 year jail term and she definitely didn't stay in jail for up to 2 years.

Please, don't tell me this is another story of a woman bribing herself out of the nigerian system. undecided
