It wasn't long that I began my career as a full-time Digital Marketer that I discovered this bitter truth that we are underpriced for our services despite the fact that we all are gifted and can deliver the same result just like our foreign counterpart. Youth over there believe that hardworking pays and we also believe that here, in fact, we worked harder than most of them do.

They are very educated and trust me, we are not lacking in that aspect either. If that's the case why then do some Nigeria youths work like elephant and eat like ant? I mean they work so hard and rean little - I many not have all the answers but I hope some of the points here will help addresses some of those questions.

First, young people over there understand their values and they do everything to protect that values. It's very rare to find them cheating their way out like it's common in this part of the world. Recalled that I got a phone call from a youth not long ago trying to scam me over the phone thinking that I'll fall for prey with all my digital knowledge but that will be story for another day.

Secondly, one of the bitter truth why many of them gets the edge is that they work smart and understand how to use technology unlike many of us here. I'm not saying that we are not good at using technology but the proportion is very low compared to our foreign counterparts.

They are paid based on results why most of our youths are paid based on their work and because I understand this secret, I always tell people that they shouldn't pay me for my work but for my result and that has made the difference in my services.

Again, they believe in sharing opportunities for others to benefits and they put in all their energy to uplift others unlike some of us will do. We will prefer keeping those opportunities than sharing for others to benefit. Again, I don't blame some of us as we're trying to protect our self-interest and integrity which is also good but I think there is a way we can do that than wasting the opportunities.

But think of it, how can I share a particular job with you when I know that you lack the skill require for it? I won't trust me. I believe in a job well done and can use that as a testimonial for all my clients within and abroad.

I began 2020 with lots of energy and one of my new year resolution was to start earning in dollars but I never knew that that shouldn't be a resolution to some extent but the great news is that I've achieved that so far. Today I'm paid in dollars and in "time bases ' for my skills and that is what I want from you reading this to do. Again, it didn't happen overnight but through intensive effort and hard work, a lonely moment coupled with cold and sunshine, a dedicated period of research cracking different search algorithm but it's worth those time and I'm proud I did just that.

Listen, if your goal is to earn in dollars then read this. I like including this on my content, it one of my favorite quote from one of my mentor-Dan Lok, and he said "Indecision is a Decision" so if you're reading this to be indecisive, then STOP, but if you want the best for yourself and your family then read on as I'll share this with you in 6 seconds.

Requirements for Earning in Dollars:

1. You need a high income SKILL
2. You need the expertise of others even if you have the SKILLS because you alone can't do it.
3. Note that: it's not all SKILLs that is a high income SKILLs that can make you earn in dollars.
4. Using your SKILL in the right Platforms and finally,
5. Reinvent yourself.

Like I shared earlier, one of my new year resolutions was to start earning In dollars and because I understood well that I can earn in dollars if only I have the right SKILL, then I had to UP-SKILL myself for the new challenge.

And one of the SKILL you can learn to earn in dollars is Digital Marketing (Copywriting, Social Media Marketing (SEM) Email Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) etc) and you can learn all of these using your smartphone or you your Laptop at the comfort of your home.
