Technically you're right but we have what we call reciprocity license, if you have a license in one state, it is valid in another. Most top lawyers are able to practice law across states.

Hush is going to jail for a long time, ten calendar years at least. Truth is even if he had invested some money in real estate in Nigeria, the safest hands to hold such assets would be the hands of a wife, preferably one who had kids with him.
