I can check my balance
My update was 990MB and the plan was able to cover that.
I also got a warning SMS that I have 70MB left on my night life plan towards the end of my download.

So far this is more transparent than Airtel.

I don't trust network providers, so when doing an update or downloading huge files, I rather buy excess data to cover whatever I want to use it for and still get extra to surf.
But op, MTN can be funny most times

It's even more disappointing that their network has been very unstable in the past two weeks. I had to sub on my Airtel momentarily yesterday because they decided to be unfortunate in the afternoon..

Their normal data plan that I use isn't too bad sha, minus that you can't browse once you have around 100mb left

Na glo Night life sure pass sadly their network can be a mess at times, glo is also fair as their 100 for 1gb is capped at 1024mb and last for 5 nights... I'll still go with Airtel over MTN though, Airtel's 1gb is capped at 995+

Glo is better. You get the real data. but for Airtel them be armed robber. The 250mb is not complete. MTN day light robbing the way they zap data no be from here. I will advice people not to use any data plan that as bonus attached to it. They deduct differently. Only Glo is honest about there data Usage.

Since I received the same offer two days ago, browsing network has flown from my phone.
Abegi they should take their offer and bring back the network

MTN is my main line for receiving calls but Glo is better for night plans.
I can't remember the last time I did night plan on my MTN or Airtel SIM.

I think the 2gb is actually 1gb cos i recently sub it to download a movies of 600mb plus other minor stuff but i was surprised to receive a notification msg from them

Big lie....mtn is scum....i did night sub two times and network keeps fluctuating, despite it was full bar, keeps refusing to browse till around 4pm
But i like it because its from 11pm to 6pm..but the network will be down

Mtn na scam, did for 500mb within seconds I got a message that I'm left with 47mb which they stopped deducting from and went to my main sub the remaining mb expired plus the over charge. Scam!! Prefer glo 200*7x

What I also noticed is that the network speed suddenly drops whenever MTN night plan is activated.

And all these are happening coz one can't insert several sims into a phone at once and here's where E-sim comes in. Now up to 6sims can work all in a single phone thanks to apple. U know which one to use for night plans and the other for normal sub.

Samsung never saw it coming coz if they did the s20 wouldn't have been the only phone supporting e-sim. they will loose alot of sales to Iphone XR upwards.

I do quite a lot of downloading myself and I noticed that I loose 9 to 10MB for every 100MB downloaded to internet traffic.
Your claim to have done a 990MB update with 1GB data plan is suspect and I think erroneous.
What puzzles me though is why you decided to pull one over nairalanders.
