4 Tips To Maintain Friendships After School by ValourDigest(m): 10:37am On Aug 05, 2020
Before delving fully into how you can maintain friendships after school. It is worthy of note that our current educational system is heavily reliant on physical learning. That is, you have to be there physically if you must gain from it. But, if there is one thing that the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us, it’s that that system is a bit flawed. However, constant physical exposure to other people does have its benefits, one of which includes making great friends.

These friends can make your life an even better place and expose you to myriads of opportunities. The only problem is that when you leave school, distance makes it more difficult to maintain the friendship. To help you keep up with the people you need to keep up with in your life, we’ve whipped up four useful tips. They’ll serve as a guide if you want to maintain friendships after school:

1. Make an effort to keep in touch

By “make an effort,” we do not mean that you should leave a measly “hi” in their inbox whenever you feel like it. In fact, some might say that this could do more harm than good because it is a particularly lazy attempt.

But, if you want to maintain your friendships after school, you should make a conscious effort to keep in touch. Try to have a decent conversation two to three times a week. If it is possible for both of you to meet up, schedule a meeting at least once a month so you can spend quality time with them.
