BLASPHEMY IN THE BIBLE

By Sheihk Hussien Manbare

THE DEATH PENALTY FOR BLASPHEMY AS ENSHRINED IN ISLAMIC SHARI'A COURT OF LAW IS ALSO CONFIRMED IN THE BIBLE :

The Christian Hotgospellers and other professional evangelical propagandists in Nigeria and abroad are venomously attacking Islam unjustifiably for awarding death sentence to the person (A professional Singer in Kano) who blasphemously abused the Holy and Noble Prophet Muhammad (on whom be peace) and who also eventually blasphemed against the Almighty Allah either because of the fact that they are ignorant of the biblical justification of death penalty for any one who blasphemed against God or because of their pathological hatred of anything good that has to do with Islam. I honourably challenged these Christians to impartially read the following references in their Bible and respond to the questions in this article.

(1) In Leviticus 24 v 10-16 the Bible says that whosoever blasphemed against God should be stoned to death by the congregation of people and the witnesses according to a divine judgment. Can any born again or dying again Christian challenge this biblical condemnation of a blaspheme to death?

(2) In Leviticus 20 verse 9 and Exodus 21 verse 17 of the Bible, it is as well written that whosoever abuses or curses his parents, either his father or Mother should be stone to death in the presence of all the people. Jesus also said the samething in Matthew 15 v 4 of the same Bible that whoever dishonour his parents should be killed. And in Matthew 5 VERSE 17 Jesus had emphatically confirmed the Mosaic's law of capital punishment as well as in John 8 v 3-11 where he also commanded the stoning of an adulterous woman who was brought before him for judicial justice, as found also in Leviticus 20 verse 10-12 and Deuteronomy 22 verses 22-23 on the penalty for adultery. Now the most puzzling question is if cursing or abusing one's parents deserved death sentence, what more of abusing a Holy divine Prophet of God?

(3) In Luke 19 verse 27 of the Bible Jesus also ordered the killing of those of his enemies who will not allowed him to rule them What can the Christians say about this biblical statement?

Lastly the Christians are also requested to read the biblical verses in Deuteronomy 13 v 6-17 and Deuteronomy 17 v 6-13 that spoke about the death sentences for Apostates meaning those that forsakes God and went after strange gods..

Face your own problems and allow Muslims to practice their faith. Period.

Note: that sincere repentance and seek for forgiveness of Allah is paramount in Islam. May Allah forgive us for our mistakes and iniquities.

The people supporting the death sentence on a person actually do worse things, most of them are pedophiles and influential rapists.

See contradiction! Will the man repent after you have killed him?

Meanwhile, your own sins are just mistakes.

(I am not a religious type though)

But that ur reference from old testament, which I considered as a period of law and ignorance, was b4 the adventure of Jesus Christ and that ur reference from the new testament ''luke 19 vs 27" is taken out of context.,... I would have advised you to read from chapter one but from ur dogmatic write up up there, one can deduce that you are another blood sucker who is not planning to learn but to seek for what to justify his abnormality.

There were laws in Israel after the Israelites were rescued from slavery in Egypt, the SPIRIT who single-handedly brought them out of slavery declared himself their God! Exodus 20:2-3
So after giving them rules, he made them swear that they will live by all his judicial decisions, the assembly was divided into two, one side to say Amen to all the CURSES having to do with defaulters of the laws of their Saviour God {Deuteronomy 27:11-26, 28:15-68} and the other party to say Amen to all the BLESSINGS declared upon those who remain loyal to their God! Deuteronomy 28:1-4
All these are the rules of their God, they stick to it and each person must see to it that all the laws of their God is kept.

But no other nation have such rules because no god ever fought singlehandedly to deliver people from under bondage like Jehovah did with Israel, each nation had laws decided upon by humans who are kings over them, because it's their Kings that gathered soldiers in other to keep them under his domain!

So if any nation or tribe wants to quote the laws the Israelites God gave his (rescued slaves) back then, they must first prove what that God in question has done without human effort just as the Israelites God did back then.

However if anyone doesn't want to subject himself to such a God, he should be allowed to choose the God he will worship. And the people have the right to send him/her away so as not to profane the name of their God or bring a curse upon their land.

I don't see anything wrong if the condemned man agreed to remain a worshiper of the God whose laws sentence him to death for blasphemy, if he chooses to be a worshiper of that God, then no one should blame his fellow believers who are carrying out the judicial decisions of their God!

But if he doesn't want to continue being a worshiper of this God, that's when those sentencing him to death can be blamed! undecided
