When initially I got connected with the BEDC electricity mains, they gave me a bill of between N3,000 and N5,000 per month for 2 months later when they saw that I was paying, it was increased to N7,000 and N8,000 plus per month and later to N20,000 to N38,000 plus per month.
When I tendered a written protest, it was reduced to N3,550 but I continued paying N5,000 per month to offset previous debt.
In June this year, they raised the bill to N11,167 for that month and July bill to N14,052.40.

BEDC Bill me 14k per month for 9 low energy light bulbs, a fan, tv, and a fridge, no borehole.
I complained severally to deaf ears.

This is my latest Bill for July:

10W20JUL118248

MY billing account number is: 0000718852

BENIN CITY ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY, BEDC YOU ARE CHEATING ON ME AND I HAVE CRIED TO YOU SEVERALLY WITHOUT YOU OFFERING ANY SOLUTION THAN TO KEEP EXPLOITING ME
