Ceremony kwa? Just because an airport was repaired When Kano, Abuja, Lagos and Kaduna airports were repaired, I didn't see any fanfare but look at how Enugu own is being presented like they've done Igbos a huge favour. Open the airport already and save us all these embarrassment please!! 11 Likes 1 Share |

The airport is located in Emene, the mass killing of Igbo youths last Sunday happened in Emene. Are they expecting the people to roll out the drums while their blood is still fresh on the ground? 2 Likes |

proeast:Every little piece of infrastructure in the SE they will use it for politics. Exactly there was no fanfare when any of those airports were done; PH too. But look at the embarrassing show they want to pull here. The airport is it not even FG property? SE has really suffered in this country. Normal routine stuff done all over the country, but when it gets to the SE, they are doing us a favor. 5 Likes |

In spite of the hatred they have for Buhari, he is committed to developing the region with lasting infrastructure. God bless President Muhammad Buhari. God bless Nigeria!!! |

conductor266:which court is declared him in contempt? Which judge? Who brought the motion? Emejulu has a subsisting and valid court order to repossess his 400 plots of land validly and legally purchased from the Emene community. It is this order that the police; commissioner and AIG were duty bound to help him enforce. Why has the Enugu state Attorney General not appealed the judgement handed down by an Enugu State high court, not a federal high court. If Emejulu resorted to self-help, what did the state government do by demolishing his property? Government help? Government is duty bound to obey laws and there are laws governing land acquisition for projects. Pay necessary compensation where necessary. You can't take a man's land and give federal government without compensating him. Damn right he will Sieze any plane that lands on his Government recognized property. Sooner or later, the chief of Air Staff will realize that airforce personnel are being used to enforce illegality and will order them to stand down. Then what? You will still pay him compensation and rebuild his house, 1 Like |

Let us watch and see if they indeed will let the airport function as other international airports with night landing. If they do, then kudos to Buhari for keeping his word. |

The parasites from the gully erosion ravaged region will not complain now that Niger Delta oil money has been used to make this possible. If the project were sited in the north or west, they will be here crying more than the bereaved. |

Marotzke:The same forged judgement he's parading (without showing proof of how he got the land) has been set aside by Enugu State High Court since last year. The same court orderd status quo should remain until the judgment is decided and he went and chattered police and thugs and started destroying airport fence. Don't worry by the time they grab his senile penis he will understand. 1 Like |

pquaver:Yorubas have insulted Buhari more than any other tribe in Nigeria. When GEJ was the president,he was hated by the core and they went as far as frustrating his government but GEJ didn't deny them any infrastructure.infact, he did more for them than Easterners.. And finally, Buhari is not paying any project from his own personal money,it's money realized from the eastern parts of Nigeria and they are entitled to it 3 Likes |

pquaver: Is it his money he's using to do us a favour? It is Buhari's moral duty to ensure that the airport is up and fully functional once again, When GEJ was building Federal University in other northern region, did the north see it as a favour?? 3 Likes |
