FunmyKemmy: Haba, I was only kidding. Your post sounded so serious. Personally I don't think it makes any difference which one you go for. But finance isn't bad, go for Finance. |

Thanks so much. Actually, when I filled my PG forms (UI), I put in for MBA in Administration but when I was about registering, I was told that they only offer two areas of specialization in MBA - Marketing/ Finance. So, I was asked to choose between the two. My background is Secretarial Studies hence my question. Calculation work(s) may drive me from Finance. |

Considering your background studies i think marketing is a good choice. Finance is full (advance) calculations and for you to excel in finance you must have a strong foundation in it i.e your first degree or if you can get the propectus or handbook and see what is involve in either courses. |

Marketing should suit you since it requires for left sided brain thinking. Based on your comments finance may be tiresome and boring to you. Think carefully about your strengths before choosing |
