He does not want African countries yet barely has enough money for airline ticket to this far flung nations he wants to go. For your information, with that amount of money and lack of strong ties to his homeland Nigeria, they will deny his visa application quickly.

I had mentioned on another thread that I am not here to discourage people from migrating but please be realistic. You can't just go to someone's country and expect to find employment immediately especially if you didn't come into that country with a job offer and work permit or permanent residency permit in hand which will permit you to work in said country immediately.

If your friend is not a professional like a medical doctor for instance, he won't be granted a work permit and in today's world, it has become difficult to travel to another country on a tourist visa and then overstay your visa with hopes that you can change it to permanent residency without returning back to Nigeria. Those days are over.

How can your friend have such little money and expect that that amount will suffice for visa processing fees, airline ticket, hotel accommodation, apartment rental, utility bills and feeding for many months in a western nation that operates in hard currency until he's gets his papers, that is if they even approve him for permanent residency?

If he runs out of funds abroad now which I suspect he will, next thing he will do is to engage in internet fraud or start selling hard drugs thereby tarnishing the global image of Nigeria and Nigerians further. I just don't know what is wrong with some Nigerians like this friend of yours. Kindly caution him.

As a software developer he can apply directly for jobs in Germany and enter with a job visa. IT specialists are well sought after here and you don't even have to speak German. He can check job sites like indeed.de, stepstone.de, xing and LinkedIn.

over 80% of Nigerians abroad are hustling with visit papers. in UK, USA and everywhere. using other peoples details, fake passport -( was called Dagbo while I was in the uk( some employers don't verify especially menial jobs). Buying and selling e.g importation from abroad. Doing cash jobs or arrangee with business owners. you never see something. Nigerians use conference and visit visa a lot and japa. they still find way to work

Your friend deceived you! It's either he got a work permit from Poland!! No way he got a visit visa for two years!!
He can't even convert visit visa to work visa! He has to come back here, apply in Nigeria and have to send his sent documents to the company in Poland to fully get the job offer after that he will apply for work visa in polish embassy in Nigeria.

Or he probably impregnate a polish girl to stay longer

its illegal in most places. But people are looking for means to survive they will do anything and pray not to get caught. In 2006 or 2007 while I was in uk. One 9ja dude casted security jobs for Nigerians. His company posted him to guard prime Minister garage. So they did background checks one day and found out he was working with fake papers and may be a threat. Naso them investigate all security licences and post names of people in News paper to come rectify. Na nigerian names full there pass. Naso everybody japa o begin dey hide. Found the article

Don't fall for the lies of agents, do your research on Ukraine first. Except you are going as a student with enough cash (and with plans to easily relocate to other European countries through study route within say 6 months to 1 year), there is no guarantee that you would settle well in Ukraine or get jobs.
